Tropical Hotel St Barth

The hotel is gorgeous, chic, and beautifully designed, but the staff is what truly made our stay exceptional. They completely redefined customer service for us.

Every request was handled quickly and effortlessly, and they made the entire experience feel seamless from start to finish. They even helped with reservations and essentially took care of our itinerary, which made our trip so much more enjoyable and stress-free.

One thing to note: the hotel is set on a hill, so there is some walking up and down if you opt-out of a taxi ride. For us, it was a small tradeoff for the beautiful setting and overall experience.

We absolutely fell in love with St. Barts and can’t wait to book again. Highly recommended!

The hotel is simply amazing. The property was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Prime location as it was walking distance to some of the best beach clubs i.e. Nikki Beach, Sandbar, and Gypsea). Staff was extremely attentive and personable. Never had ro ask for anything twice.

Location!!! The staff was amazing, the rooms clean and comfortable. I loved how dark they are in the morning to sleep in!! Its a great spot for adult couples. Can’t wait to come back!

This hotel is wonderful! The staff is so attentive and helpful. I had a few meetings for business and they were so helpful with scheduling taxis for pickup. It is also located in a perfect place right between a lot of the main areas! Will be coming back.

Our stay at Tropical Hotel in St. Barts was truly unforgettable. My husband and I came here on our honeymoon, and from the moment we arrived, everything felt so special. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, but what really made the experience stand out was the incredible service. Every single person made us feel so welcomed and cared for — it felt cozy, personable, and genuinely warm in a way that’s so rare to find.

The food and drinks were also some of the best we have ever had. We are still talking about them and honestly will be thinking about them for a very long time. Every meal felt like an experience, and everything was done so thoughtfully and perfectly.

This trip is something I know we’ll remember forever, and Tropical Hotel was such a huge part of that. We felt completely relaxed, spoiled, and at home the entire time. I honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough for anyone looking for a special, unforgettable experience in St. Barts. Thank you for making our honeymoon so amazing!

I want to start off this review by saying thanks to the staff, I just had to show up. They took care of the moke rental, reservations for dinner, transportation from/to the airport. Every single staff member welcomed you with a smile and courtesy of communication. Barbara, Emmanuelle, Delina, and the driver for valet (can't remember his name) thank you thank you for everything. Pauline the GM was amazing as well. If hesitant on booking, do not. The place is beautiful, welcoming and steps away from Nikki beach club and eden rock sand bar. 10/10 😍

We had the best stay! Close to Nikki Beach and Eden ROC and everywhere fun, but we also had some separation and beautiful views!

We love the location of the tropical! So conveniently located to all the great shops. They decor was fun and lively and very clean. The rooms are nice and big and I had a good view. As far as the value goes, it’s Saint Barts so, it is what it is. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Tropical was the best thing about St. Barth's! It is a really lovely hotel with a great, relaxing, pretty atmosphere. Delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners were just steps away from our room. The pool is beautiful with stunning views of the sea. And the service is impeccable! Everyone on the staff was so kind and generous, with a very special mention to Elia, Elio, Camille, Yasmine, and Pierre. They all made our visit so fun and enjoyable! My husband and I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is amazing!! From the superb service from hotel staff and the location, this hotel made for a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. I 10/10 recommend it. It is walking distance to a bunch of fun restaurants and the beach of course. The team here is very helpful and met all of our needs and requests. Can’t wait to be back!!

We stayed at Tropical for five nights during our two-week stay in St. Barth, and it was an excellent choice. We chose the hotel based on its location and strong reviews, and it absolutely lived up to expectations.
Tropical is a charming boutique hotel in the perfect location. If, like us, you want to be close to Gustavia and within walking distance of beach clubs such as Nikki Beach, it is ideal. It offers both convenience and a relaxed, stylish atmosphere, making it a wonderful base for a stay in St. Barth.
Everyone working there was so kind and lovely, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are beautiful, and we stayed in an Ocean Suite, which we would definitely book again.
We traveled with our teenage daughters, and it was perfect for our family. The island feels very safe, and from this location they could easily walk around. We had a great stay and would happily return.

First time in Saint Bart and the staff made us feel like we were regulars. This small boutique hotel was exactly what we look for during our vacations. The breakfast was amazing! The Concierge’s team was incredibly responsive and helpful.
