Good stay.
Limited options best for convenience to everything
I like being close to all attractions
Comfortable place to stay.
No smoke alarm
Air conditioning did not work
People fighting inside and out
We loved it. Ismail and all.other staff were very helpful
Thanks everyone
Did not see the location for the family restaurant. We accidently made our way to the bar and grill. Security was kind enough to show us the other restaurant.
Stayed here 3 nights while visiting for work. I enjoyed how the hotel was connected to a pharmacy/grocery store and had two restaurants plus a cafe inside. It was the dead of winter so I appreciated not having to go outside to grab a meal. I tried both restaurants and they were quite good, one is more of a bar/pub food with events during select nights. The room itself is quite large and cozy, it is definitely on the older side but it was still clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant, and there is also a movie theatre inside the hotel if you are looking for some entertainment!
Good
Best food in Iqaluit.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Stayed 2 nights in June 2022 and enjoyed my stay. Good location and very helpful staff.
Only issue I had was a couple lamps in my room didn't work but overall had a very enjoyable stay. Onsite restaruants were good and the room was comfortable
GOOD: Good service, staff very polite and helpful.
NOT SO GOOD: Bathroom sink and counter not very clean. Had to ask for a bed sheet as I was expected to sleep with quilt only...Unable to control the room temperature and it got very warm. Was able to open windows to help to cool down the room.
Reduced menu due to Covid-19 restrictions, but did not have accompaniments with meals (ie: gravy, sauces) nor was there enough meals in the small cafe for dinner for all guests.
Cleanliness and smiling staff, generous potions of food
The staff are very rude to Inuit of the community
They need to shine more respect
Not much to chose from; but would probably stay there again if rates were a bit lower.
Booked for an employee; he was impressed with the airport shuttle, pleasant customer service and location.
The advertised service was poor. The hotel was understaffed and it took tow calls, one for 12 minutes the other for 18 minutes before they picked the phone up. Then they still did not show up to get me from the airport as paid for. Then there was no internet service as advertised. The Hotel manager then proceeded to blame me for not knowing how to use a computer (I have been using one for over 35 years). She was very aggressive and kept trying to pass blame on me. Even stating that I was "just a complainer." And wanted me to account for why there was not a big line up of people complaining.
I recorded her conversation ad told her I was doing so before she de-escalated her behaviour. I also had spoken to the security guard before speaking with her and he explained that the hotel does not purchase enough bandwith. This was also confirmed by the staff at the bar associated with the hotel.
For being the top hotel charging over $300 a night I expect better. Senior management need to consider who they hire to represent their hotel.
