Would definitely go back again!
The room was comfortable and the staff pleasant. I did not enjoy vegan dinner or breakfast and there was no choice. Perhaps this was explained before I booked but I missed it. The library of book for sale was interesting.
The Stanford Hotel is a beautiful property with warm cozy rooms, delicious (vegan) food, great views and very friendly staff.
The vegan restaurant is interesting. Breakfast included with the room. Forces clientele to have an open mind to consider a switch to a vegan diet for health, sustainability and to not contribute to cruelty for our non human living creatures. Food was good and certainly gives pause and “food” for thought.
Lovely place. Highly recommend this hotel.
One issue - I could hear rats/mice crawling around in the middle of the night.
They need to put out a few traps to catch them.

Wonderful birthday destination! The accommodations were cozy, loved the fireplace. Ravens Restaurant was amazing! Every single meal!! We had massages and took a cooking class with Sid. We enjoyed the dry sauna, hot tub and pool that were all located in a greenhouse type setting. So relaxing.

This is a beautiful property. The grounds include gardens and also a number of animals. There are donkeys, llamas, and horses. They are dog friendly here. The rooms are charming, mission style cabin feeling. There is an Nespresso machine in your room, which is wonderful!
Very nice quiet area. Unfortunately some guest did not move their EV cars after they were fully charged to share with others and some of the cleaning staff parked non EV’s at the charging stations. The hotel restaurant is vegan only with a menu that would not appeal to very many. The hotel itself was very beautiful and well kept. The staff was very nice

This is a eco-focused resort spa. very relaxing.
The staff was super friendly. The rooms were perfect. Keep in mind this is a super eco friendly hotel. And still no quality difference between this and any other 5 star hotel. In fact, I can say with no hesitation for our choice of experience it was better than the Fairmont in San Francisco.
When you are there it is so easy to relax.

Excellent property, the rooms are 4 diamonds quality and the grounds are beautiful! Friendly staff from the time you checked in.
The garden, nurseries and the pool are very seren and beautiful. Catch a canoe was fun.
A little be disappointed between the pool picture and the reality. I think you could had more plants like it’s shown in the brochure
