It was adequate but the room was disappointing.
Pros:

The room was very clean. Breakfast was more than adequate.

Cons:

The fixtures in the room were tired. The carpeting was very worn and had holes in it. The tile in the shower had a huge crack in it. Considering the hotel was not fully booked, one would think they would give us a nicer room.

Ordinary place to stay if you have nowhere else.
Pros:

It's an Inn and that's all but we found it overpriced for what the place has to offer.

Cons:

Our bathroom's ceiling was falling and had mold. Breakfast was ordinary to say the least. Nothing extraordinary about this place for the price we paid for 2 nights.

Poor environmental credentials
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable, team were friendly. The reception area looks lovely on arrival.

Cons:

Plastic cutlery and plastic cups are used at breakfast, the food is almost entirely in plastic packaging and everything goes into the same bin. If you need a napkin or a fork or spoon, you have to open a plastic packet containing the plastic knife, fork, napkin, salt and pepper. It's hugely unsustainable and unlike any of the other four hotels or inns we stayed in during our trip to New England. For this alone we wouldn't have stayed here if we'd known. We expected to be closer to local amenities and whilst we were within walking distance of Rockport, it was a fair walk. We have to take reponsibility for not researching better as we also expected there was a bar on site too.

Ok and clean.
Pros:

Ok location. Friendly staff. Clean.

Cons:

Outdated old. Part of it was updated but the room we got wasn't. Had a new bathroom, but the rest of the room definitely needed updating. Paint peeling, etc. Room had two queen beds but would have preferred one King. The continental breakfast had the very minimal that a continental breakfast could possibly have.

Not so great in rockport
Pros:

Nice facility and comfy bed. Nice breakfast

Cons:

Loud noise up til midnight outside our room from. The fire pit area. 2 terrible. Lights sleep.
Wrote to the office staff 2x about getting an early check in and never even got a response. Based on These Interactions I would not stay there again

Having come from the Hotel Marblehead we were not sure what to expect but our fears were unfounded.
Pros:

From the start we liked everything about the hotel. The Reception staff were very helpful and friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay a pleasure. The breakfasts were plentiful and varied, the pool was large and not busy and the room was spacious, clean and very well furnished.

Cons:

Nothing could have been improved upon.
