Categories

Cleanliness
9.3
Multiple reviewers repeatedly called the hotel 'very clean' or 'clean and comfortable'; one mention of a strong air-freshener smell in a room slightly reduces a perfect score.
Service
9.6
Staff repeatedly described as helpful, professional and friendly (specific praise for evening receptionist Laura); one complaint about lack of follow-up on Wi‑Fi and an uninterested response in one case slightly temper the score.
Location
9
Location was described positively by guests ('felt the location was good'), but it was infrequently mentioned so score is strong yet conservative.
Room Quality
8.4
Rooms are generally comfortable with good amenities (fridge, microwave, comfortable beds), but several guests reported problems: AC not cooling, strange smells/air freshener, broken furniture, and thin walls/noise; these issues lower the rating.
Amenities
9.4
Strong amenities: full breakfast, extensive coffee options, outdoor pool with cabanas and lounge area, in-room fridge/microwave; one note that fitness equipment was non-functional reduces a perfect score.
Value for Money
9.6
Multiple reviewers highlighted excellent rates and better value compared to other hotels—consistently called good value for the quality provided.
Food and Beverage
9.7
Breakfast repeatedly described as 'amazing' with many options and extensive coffee choices; food offerings are a clear strength across reviews.
Overall Experience
8.6
Most guests reported a very positive or relaxing stay and would return or recommend; a subset experienced service/room problems (Wi‑Fi, AC, noise), so overall experience is high but slightly reduced by those negatives.

Very good stay.
Pros:

Breakfast was ok, however, something was not refilled (perhaps muffins or hash browns) as early as 7.30am.

Cons:

Already answered.

My stay was relaxing and comfort.
Pros:

The breakfast food was amazing. I was so excited when I woke up to get breakfast. The pet accommodations by providing a bowl and treats were so thoughtful of my furry companion. The pool lounge was a great relaxing experience especially when traveling on the road for a while.

Cons:

The only thing that made this stay unpleasant was the Wi-Fi did not work on our electronics devices in the room however, only the front desk area. The staff did try to help however, they never followed up if we had access to the Wi-Fi and it was something not imperative to our stay.

Highly recommended
Pros:

Great place. Friendly staff go above and beyond. The full breakfast had many many options. The food was good. Lots of coffee options. Coffe, latte ‘s, cappuccino, whatever you want to drink in the morning. They have it. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool was great and had an abundance of seating and sunning options. The cabanas were a nice touch. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel and would highly recommend it. I will stay here again next time I come to Lake Jackson or Galveston. And Laura, the evening reception is phenomenal and deserves a raise. She is so friendly and helpful. Thank you Laura.

Pros:

Nice and clean, breakfast was good

Cons:

The only complaint I have was I not able to sleep because the people next to us were having sex all night and morning. Headboard banging all night. Walls are very thin, other than it was nice.
