Brilliant extremely comfortable beds
Pros:

Lovely setting staff were absolutely lovely nothing was too much trouble dident try the restaurant but the breakfast was lovely

A welcome suprise
Pros:

I expected an out of date old fashioned hotel given the price paid It was actually lovely and well maintained with good parking, a good range of dining options and a bar. The staff were friendly and attentive the room was clean and the facilities and welcome tray were stocked with Coffee bags and biscuits and good toiletries. The bed was comfortable and the lighting was very good for working etc.

Cons:

There are no USB sockets for charging phones if you don't bring a plug and the hotel has a stairs only access so if you are disabled(which I'm not) you might struggle.

I was told that this happens when there were too many guests using their rooms at once.

Pros:

The food was lovely, and the staff were friendly & and helpful & very comfy beds.

Cons:

No milk for morning coffee in the room only one bath towel. Having said this, reception told us when checking out, milk could have been supplied by then on request & spare towels were in the wardrobe. This information should have been a check in though.

Not bad but could be so much better
Pros:

Not bad

Cons:

Decor is tired. They need to rip the old carpets up in the rooms and have some sort of flooring that is less potentially unclean. I put towels on the floor to cover my way to shower. The carpets in the room need to be updated.
In hallways it's not important, but in the rooms definitely. Could almost feel the dust mites climbing up my ankles. This is my abiding memory and it could be so much better.
