good price hotel for transit before early morning flight
Pros:

we've been staying several times in this hotel as a transit hotel because we have an early morning flight from Balikpapan. Everything is nice and nothing to be complaint about

Good location and spacious comfortable rooms for work travel.
Pros:

The Zurich hotel is an older style classic Balikpapan hotel. It is spacious and comfortable, and ideally located for access to shopping and the airport. I use it for my work travel as it is economical and friendly, not plastic and small. The room views are nice compared to other parts of the city. Access is good for taxis. Easy to walk to BSB supermall. Really nice Indonesian room-service meals. Inexpensive and delicious. This is why I return every month for my work & travel.

Cons:

Some fittings are getting old.

No choice for the European customers , when I checked inn I ask the receptionist about it and shes said yes we have few options..... definitely they serve only meal for Indonesian and the meal is extremely bad.
The selection of bread and pastry is unacceptable and also smelly of old bread .
No jam , no yoghurt , no toast machine... Still one small Owen but full of rust ...
For two times I ordered MC donald in the morning to have a great breakfast.

We book superior room
Room too small , smelly , bathroom with bathtub without beauty set .
We land on the bed and it's extremely hard , we requested the cover mattress but unfortunately don't have, they pass me one more bedsheet...
Night time the room have one window without curtains, we went to the lobby and they changed room , the second room faced to the main road , impossible to sleep and impossible to relax also the air con it's broken . The window don't cover the sound ...
Again reception and again change room
Finally I think they pass me some suite room
But if this is the suite room they have really to touch up all the hotel.
The room is bigger, but the bathtub have a little bit rust , the shower pipe is too old and the water doesn't comes out in proper way. The room have a lot of dusty , mattress extremely hard , the air con need maintenance because ok cold but noisy when run . Night time is extremely hard to handle.

Staff
Unfortunately the 95% of the staff don't speak English, impossible to communicate with them especially during the breakfast. I'm lucky because have my wife, she's can handle it.

Hotel need really extreme and urgent renovations from bedroom to the breakfast.
Finally I never comeback anymore in this hotel,better spend one million more and choose a big brand .

便利でそこそこ綺麗なホテル
Pros:

客室は綺麗で良かったです。
ホテルのレストランも深夜まで営業していて助かります。
一点改善して欲しいのはバスルームから異臭がしていました。これは辛いです。
