Poor quality for a high price
Pros:

Property has parking to the doorstep. Has a fridge , microwave and air conditioner.

Cons:

The floor wa dirty. Needed a good mop for sure. There were some kind of bugs crawling on the bed walls, bathroom. There were mosquitoes in the room too. Toiletries could be better for the price they charge per night. Air conditioning too long time to cool. The property is nice but definitely needs some upgrades compared to the prices charged. We stayed for 2 nights and expected room to be cleaned when we put the sign outside to clean but it wasn’t. We had to go and dump the garbage ourselves.

Cons:

Not sound proof, not accessible to the management on site, electrical issue and the AC is so loud, plus the roof gutter is too old as rain water is splashing into our room.

The Alpen is conveniently located, excellent value and very comfortable. We slept well!
Pros:

The hotel did not have its own breakfast facilities. Instead, they provided coupons for a free breakfast at a local cafe called Screamers. There were 3 options to choose from for breakfast and the coupon included coffee or juice.
