The man who received us when we arrived was very helpful and courteous and gave us a good room that fitted our needs. Thanks! It was quiet in our bedroom through the night, which is a bit weird since the hotel is located right on the highway. The scenery in the ack yard is very good and we enjoyed watching the sunset. My only complaint is that most of the drivers in this area are very impatient and like to speed. I always had somebody tailing me closely when we drove to LaTuque and going home today right until we hit hwy 55.

Sogesehen 👍, kleine Einschränkung: der gebrauchte Kaffeefilter vom vorherigen Gast war noch in der Maschine, wir waren 2 Nächte da und es gab keinen Roomservice (also Betten wurden nicht gemacht) und hatten noch nicht ausgecheckt (deutlich vor der Zeit), als schon alles abgezogen war. Abendessen im Restaurant war sehr gut!

The staff were super helpful and friendly. They tried their best to translate what they could and they were patient trying to navigate our language barrier.

Specious clean relatively newly renovated room. Walks out to the green backyard. Direct access to the river through the backyard. There are Muskoka chairs to sit and relax by the river. Room had all amenities expect a microwave. Bathroom was very specious and well equipped. Staff was very friendly and polite. Food in the restaurant was good and very reasonably priced. There is a gas station just on the other side of the road.

Clean room nice staff good food

Beautiful property to stay at, however, we were not happy about how rushed out the door we were by the hotel staff. We still had an hour left of our stay, yet the staff were trying to get into our room to clean it before we had all our stuff! I was still collecting my things in the hotel, when a staff all of a sudden entered the room (he thought we were done I guess). What if i was in the middle of changing my outfit and I was baked? I have never felt so rushed out the door like that at a hotel.

Whether you need a place to stay after doing nearby activities or are on a road trip, this is a peaceful hotel with a scenic yard.
The staff is welcoming and friendly, plus the room was nice and clean with a beautiful view. We could relax on the shared balcony or closer to the water and watch the sun set. In the morning, its a beautiful place to relax with complimentary coffee while watching and listening to birds...
The restaurant host and waitress were pleasant, and the food was good.
Reasonably priced.
Great for families, couples, groups of friends...

Endroit tranquille. Accès à une terrasse extérieure de la chambre. Restaurant accessible et très bien. Les serveurs et serveuses sont très sympathiques.

Un hôtel bien placé juste à côté du parc de la sepaq où vous avez de quoi vous régaler en terme de randonnée et de lac.
La Clim est d un autre siècle et bruyante.
le restaurant est à revoir car c est cher pour une qualité de cantine d école et des produits surgelés mais bon il n y a rien au alentour.
Le service reste très bien avec toujours le sourir mais normal nous sommes au Québec.

L'hôtel Marineau est idéalement situé à proximité de la réserve faunique de Matawin sur les bords de la rivière St Maurice. C'est une institution dans le secteur depuis 1932 !
Les chambres sont rénovées, spacieuses et propres. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le service est irréprochable.
