Pros:

Great central location in Galle with everything an easy walk. Lovely setting. Clean comfortable room with spacious bathroom with power shower. Friendly and helpful staff at the property. Lovely breakfast

A real find with everything on your doorstep
Pros:

Location is superb- inside the fort and very close to lots of great spots - Gslle cricket grounds. Lighthouse, fort walls for sunset, Barefoot. Coco and Date who are teeny but do great coffee and food.
The staff at Mango House were very attentive and the welcome drink, wet towel and spices were s lovely welcome gesture.
The room was well equipped and felt very comfortable with a Sri Lankan feel from the decor in rooms and in restauarant .The shower was excellent- full power and spacious.
The breakfast was excellent - highly recomnend - drlicious eggs benedict with their own twist. Loved the Sri Lankan breakfast, specially the hoppers
Loved the fact that Mango House were conscious about plastic and energy saving. I particularly liked their ethos about being kind to the turtles and elephants about not feeding them or riding them.

Cons:

Not being able to stay longer because they were fully booked.
I would definitely revommend booking the room with a terrace or courtyard as they looked lovely and nice to have some outdoor space.

Preis-Leistung stimmt für die Zimmer im Erdgeschoss nicht.
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr gut in der Altstadt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Inneneinrichtung war sehr schön.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war klein. Zimmer Nummer 1 hat im Bad ein Loch in der Wand, das zum Flur geht. Also alles ist hörbar. Der Kaffee ist schlecht. Das Fenster geht zum Innenhof/ Schacht.

Recomenable!!!!
Pros:

El que mes ensha agradat, ha estat la ubicació dins de la part antiga de Galle. L’habitació tenia terrassa i estava molt neta i era força comfortable. Ens van tractar amb molta amabilitat i l’esmorzar era molt complet i molt bo!

Beautiful and unique boutique hotel with excellent and warm service and hospitality!
Pros:

Wonderful boutique hotel in a great location in the Galle old fort area. Extremely welcoming and helpful service from the duty manager, Thushara, who went out of his way to make it a memorable stay for our family group of 11 people - also giving us tips for Galle. The breakfasts were generous and delicious - especially the hoppers! We will definitely return when back in Galle!

Beautiful place, would stay again
Pros:

The manager and the restaurant staff were helpful and kind . The hotel is simple but nicely decorated. It’s well located in the fort , walking distance to restaurants . Breakfast was nice enough . Had a meal there, vegetarian coconut curry and it was delicious !

Cons:

The room was small . The air conditioning switched off regularly . No hot water in the shower.

Great character filled hotel in an great location with amazing staff.
Pros:

This place was fantastic. Lots of character, right in the Galle Fort, with a great breakfast and awesome staff.

Our host who is one of 2 managers is one of the most polite, organised and accommodating people I have EVER met.
You want some fresh milk for coffee? No problem You want your breakfast 1 hour earlier!! Because you have to go to the airport? No problem, I'll get here earlier. WT?! Soooo grateful.
Bar tender is a lovely older man who you could share your worldly problems with and they would be fixed.
The included breakfast we had choices. OMG! do the Sri Lankan option. I smiled all day thinking about it.
He has done his country proud. Our last 2 nights in a totally amazing country have been uber-pleasant.
Great value for money. Family of 4 travellers.

Great choice for Galle Fort
