Hotel City Heart

This property is. It good to stay with family. Fan was not working and no proper staff available to help or clean. Sheets were dirty and mattress was very old and poor quality. Don’t recommend this property.

Its been so many years my parents travel twice to amritsar in a year and everytime they stay at city heart they have the best experience every time …

Unfortunately this hotel does not have any heating systems in the room. Which is completely cruel considering the temperature is low 2-5 degrees. When we asked the staff for heating in the room they said they don’t have any which is really odd as there was a heating system in the room.

Secondly, the rooms are not sound proof at all. Other guests who were staying at the hotel have zero courtesy for others as there were kids screaming in the hall ways and running up and down the stairs early at 5-6am. The staff should remind guests to be sensitive to their surroundings as others are staying as well.

Even though this is walking distance to the golden temple I would recommend staying somewhere else as the no heat in rooms is cruel.

We were shown 2 rooms on 3rd floor with street view but upon check in were given a back facing room. Terrible view. No internet. After a long time of trying, we were moved to the nearby sister property City Park. Definitely upgrade. Definitely recommend staying at City Park. Staff very friendly and polite.

Det här är ett trevligt hotell med perfekt läge i gamla delen av Amritsar. Amritsar visade sig för övrigt vara en mycket trevlig liten stad som jag varmt vill rekommendera att besöka under en Indienresa. Då är det här hotellet ett bra alternativ. Städningen behöver dock bli bättre på hotellet.

Perfect location. No breakfast in the hotel, but you'll find restaurants close by.

It is one of the worst hotel with no basic facilities like even a tea or coffee maker in the room. locally they are selling the rooms at SGD 46 per night. The bed linens were dirty & used. Expedia should never recommend such hotel.

Buena atención

1. Hotel did not have any booking details and asked us to show the printout!
2. Very close to Golden temple making it very easy to walk to the temple any time of the day.
3. TV / setup box remote was not working
4. During check out, their credit card machine did not work (multiple cards, several attempts). They had to send a man with us to their other property. It took half an hour to settle the bill.

Clean, simple, comfortable hotel, and that's it. No extras here. Wifi is free, and available, and terrible. Can only connect one device, and automatic log-offs frequently. All in all, a good hotel if location is your goal.

The best location to visit the Golden Temple which is meters away from the property. The room was super clean with modern amenities and good linen.

Very large, clean, well maintained room. A/C blasting. Super comfortable large bed. More than I expected. Less than 7 minutes walk to Golden Temple. Very kind staff. I highly recommend.

TV would not work in my room so they upgraded me to new room.
