Friendliness of the staff

I was disappointed with the property as it’s no longer properly maintained. The sheets and towels were in poor condition, with the towels appearing brownish, and the walls were noticeably dirty

One thing that was amazing was the staff...who did all possible to ensure we have a pleasant stay...Jean Pascal, and the other Jean were very supportive.

Two things made my stay not so good: internet was weak and i had to buy a mobile router to hold my zoom calls. And the room key system was a failure.

I had chosen this Hotel for the first stile for myself and my staff but my staff was so much unpleased that i cannot recommend this for a future stay.

Personally, i may still come back because the welcoming, availability and support from the staff.

It was an okay stay for few days. The staff were very nice.

Though I think Expedia always picks the worst deals for its customers. I was surprised that breakfast was not included in the booking though I opted for it.

With regards to the facilities, the key encoding system went faulty, there seems to be a nightclub nearby making loud noise at night, water pressure was spotty.

The rooms are not the very best but I can say they are up to standard talk les of the food services they offer there

Great location, very close (walking distance) from city centre and several attractions. Professional and friendly front desk staff as well as the catering staff in the restaurant. Clean, comfortable room. Good speed WiFi in all parts of the hotel.
Unfortunately during my visit, renovation works was ongoing a d the gym and some other facilities were not assessable.

Lovely staff but every room I tried had a cockroach. They did their best to deal with the problem and were very apologetic but it is clearly an issue in the hotel. Avoid if you don't like these vsitors. Also no hot water in shower. Otherwise hotel is fine.

Convenient location

This was a great introduction to Yaoundé with a straightforward reception into a place with character and in which everything worked and friendly staff. Meal prices were not exorbitant for a 4 star hotel, and the rooms and shower well equipped. All was clean and comfortable. The first room overlooked the street and was noisy and after opening the window, it was difficult to close, but I got a much quieter room on the opposite side of the corridor. Carpets dampen the noise of guests returning to their rooms and I got a good night's sleep. You'll pay over U$150/night and breakfast is extra. There is a good menu and the lamb was delicious!

This was just an ok hotel. The positive thing is that it is nicely located not too far from downtown and there is a park around the corner.

That being said, the following things were a bit problematic.
1. Breakfast options were limited and on the first morning of breakfast, I noticed a couple cockroaches running along the buffet counter.
2. The shower pressure was not very good.
3. After the toilet was flushed, water seeped out from underneath the toilet and ran to the drain in the middle of the bathroom floor.
4. I requested help with a PCR test to return home which the front desk gentleman obliged to do by calling someone to come to the hotel to assist. I was charged 25,000 CFA for the test with no receipt given, even though I asked.

Very good and professional staff

This hotel is not worth the price at all. I can't believe the ratings. I love the one in douala but the one in yaounde is really bad. Leaking sink, low flowing water in bath, horrible mosquitos, old furniture, run down amenities and the lobby is danky, etc. It is in a really loud neighborhood. The food in the restaurant is good and the staff is pretty okay.
