Room was dirty, dirty stains on towels, and bugs crawling on the floor
Very very dirty
Room was basic but adequate. Enough space bad comfy bed.
I felt that the price was very high. We wanted to be close to my daughter's flat or would have stayed somewhwe cheaper. Add to that the dogs change of £20 PER DOG PER NIGHT, which is normal for a hotel but makes me mad. it was a very expensive night. I understand a dog charge but I can't understand charging for both dogs? Neither made any mess although I appreciate more cleaning may be required for hairs, but not per dog. £20 extra would be reasonable, not £40 in my opinion.
The location was ideal being on the sea front. I was in room number 7 which has a king sized bed, extremely comfortable. The room had an oil heater that made the room nice and cosy.
I couldn't really fault anything about the hotel. The only minor complaint is the lack of sugar on the complementaries tray, but I should have pointed that out to my host
Bed comfortable and affordable overnight stay
A bit dated the rooms but reflective in price good value for money
It was convenient for where I wanted to be and staff were very friendly & helpful
Food was very good
It was a little tired - in need of some updating
Good
Small TV and dated decor
Bed too soft. But otherwise very good
Better bed
Location is excellent to town and local areas, also the sea front. The breakfast was lovely and cooked fresh. The staff were so friendly.
No lift to upper floor.
Clean and very very comfortable
There is nothing not to like it’s a hidden gem
Warm welcome and good breakfast.
Friendly host, clean comfortable bed/room, excellent breakfast
I liked everything
A great location, so close to the seafront, a very short walk from the centre but lovely and quiet! Such a lovely spacious room with a huge comfortable bed we slept so well! Very dog friendly. Lots of great advice from the owners, we took their recommendations and had a wonderful few drinks, meals and a trip out on the ferry we might not have found otherwise. An exceptional breakfast with plenty of choice and cooked perfectly. We booked our stay after visiting family in Scotland but already want to come back!
Having to leave!
