This little gem was really a nice surprise ☺️. Absolutely loved the amenities and the uniqueness of the facility. Great food and drink options at the little restaurant that was attached to this hotel. The elevator was out of service and that was a challenge. The stairs are not marked well for people with limited vision and my friend fell on the stairs. But I really enjoyed all the peacefulness of the hotel. Also there was an outside garden for enjoying coffee and early morning meditations. Highly recommend a weekend getaway to this place if you are seeking a quiet spot and slower pace. 🥰
Historic hotel that’s been very well maintained while keeping all its history and charm. Onsite restaurant was great!
Place was ok. It is a historic hotel.
Very nice old historical hotel, good food and drinks in the basement bar.
Probably getting close for refurbish but overall good stay. Nice historic hotel
Nice
Cute older hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant in the hotel is very good.
This is a quaint hotel in a quiet small town. It’s like stepping back in time. We love the unique vibe. If you’re looking for all the modern conveniences (big tv, usb ports, nightlife) this isn’t for you. If you want a quiet, unique experience, stop by. Comfortable beds, clean rooms and nice shower.
Historic hotel that has been renovated. Nice saloon and restaurant immediately downstairs.
I Do LOVE old hotels like this one. I Love antiques and old things. It was really a nice hotel. The only thing that I didn't like that there was no small refrigerator, no microwave, and No telephone. These things are standard in most of your hotels now. I even know of some old hotels that do have these things in the rooms. Other then that, everything was great. The rooms were a little small, but that was just fine. To me there should be a phone in each room, what if you had an emergency? Not everyone might not have the hotel number programed into there phone. I know I didn't because I did my reservation online. So in the future, you might want to put phones in the rooms. Just in case someone has an emergency and needs some help, or just go call the front desk for information about something. So maybe in the future you might want to get phones in the rooms... Thank you
Very nice restaurant and bar and historical hotel. Interesting place to visit for one night.
Great hotel! The staff were very helpful. The food in the barn behind the hotel was great! We will be back for sure.
Great place. Great staff. Restaurant is amazing as well.
Super unique place with a great staff!
Worth the mile drive off the interstate
Great historical property well managed and maintained
Dinner was awesome !
Highly recommend!
If you are into small town quaint experiences but with modern amenities as opposed to chain hotels near the Interstate this is the place for you! This hotel has been maintained very well despite being built in the 1800s. There is a very good restaurant/ bar on property. It is situated within 5 minutes of Interstate 70 so it’s convenient. It marks the halfway point from Kansas City and Denver. The town is cute but not much left in the way of open businesses which is a shame.
Tiny room but nice bathroom. No place to sit except on the bed.
Very unfriendly staff person in the kitchen.
Very nice restaurant in the lower level with great service and food.
Sleep-destroying air conditioner that cycled on and off every two minutes all night.
Loved the history and ambience of this hotel and town 💌
No ice available
Air conditioning did not keep up with the heat.
Should have a toaster available at breakfast.
Restaurant was awesome - food was incredible, especially for a town of this size.
Hotel atmosphere was really good
