Decent stay
Pros:

The room itself can use some major updating and repairs. The water pressure was extremely low; the dry wall repairs were very noticeable and tacky. The carpet at the bathroom door was torn and the bottom of the bathroom door was frayed and wilted. There were splashes of something on the artwork in the bathroom. However, the bed was super comfortable, the breakfast was AMAZING! Staff we're friendly and the common areas of the hotel were very modern and nice.

It was perfect in every way.

Everything? Excellent location, beautiful spaces, professional employees, delicious breakfast

Cons:

Nothing. We liked everything. We arrived an hour before check-in, but instead of asking up to wait, they upgraded us to a nicer room at no charge.

Excellent stay during the last few days of Mardi Gras
Pros:

Easy access to Mardi Gras parades for the entire week. Walking distance to a few nice places close by and if going a little further, Bourbon Street. Friendly staff and the breakfast/coffee was well stocked and never felt crowded.

Good location for any kind of visit.
Pros:

Nice hotel away from the hubbub of Mardi Gras but close enough to get a taste of it. Breakfast was good and worth the time to eat there. Room was spacious and we had a great view of the surrounding area.
