Credit cards issued to people other guest (i.e., parent, spouse, etc.) are not accepted in Mexico. Student / Youth policy (YEAR ROUND) Student / Youth Travelers are defined as any guest 24 years of age and younger traveling without legal parent / guardian and is applicable at ALL Oasis properties on a year round basis.
As a general rule, the Grand Oasis Cancún will be the only property that will accept Student / Youth GROUPS (not applicable to family travel). Any guests meeting the above definition of Student / Youth Traveler are subject to the following conditions: § Upon check-in, passengers will be required to pay a one-time Student / Youth resort fee (charges may vary). Policy is mandatory, per person and not refundable.
Operator is obligated to inform all Students/Youths of this charge. Minimum age requirement for hotel check-in is 18 years of age. All rooms require one person that is at least 18 when occupied by a 17 year old passenger. All students under the legal age of 18 require a notarized consent from parent/legal guardian providing authorization and taking responsibility for the guest. No passenger under the age of 17 years of age is allowed to occupy any room without a parent or legal guardian accompanying them. Any student group traveling with guests under the age of 18 will require chaperon(s). One chaperon is required per 1-19 students/youths under the age of 18. The minimum age requirement for a chaperon is 25. All students will be assigned a special bracelet for ID purposes; this policy is applicable year round. Please note the legal drinking age in Mexico is 18. A mandatory environmental fee and a resort fee per room per stay will be charge upon check in.

Propreté des locaux, deux piscines , l’hôtel est bien situé ( au centre ) ce qui nous permet également d’être plus proche des locaux.

breakfast was excellent and service was also very good.
A beach would have been nice but that has to do with the location in Downtown.
Breakfast was nice though only started at 7am which is for most day trips too late.
The room was extremly dirty, old and filthy, nothing like on the pictures. I booked at Oh! Cancun but the elevator to my room was in the Smart Hotel part (same building). I was told that 6th and 7th floor were the Oh! Cancun standard. When I got my room the bathroom sink area was dirty and clearly not cleaned. I called reception but was told to wait for an English speaker just for them to hang up on me 1 min later. So I went downstairs to the reception to complain and got a different room on the 5th floor (looked exactly the same so their explanation with the floors and standards seems not true). In that room there were small bugs in both beds so I left right away to complain again. Got a 3rd room again on the 5th floor. Checked that one, again small bugs and flies in the room and bed, super disgusting. I told the guy at the reception that bugs in the bed are a massive issue, he even didn't say something. He asked me to go back to the first room and he'd send someone to clean the bathroom. At least there were no bugs in that room. 15 mins later he came himself to tell me that all cleaning staff was gone and just cleaned the toilet paper in the sink and the hair with a napkin. Said they'd clean the next day. Next day I left at 7am for a day trip and put out the cleaning sign. Got back to the hotel around 4pm and the room was still not cleaned. I complained again, same reception guy who said to call cleaning stuff and arrange it. When I got back around 8pm it was finally done. As one could not close the sink, I asked if it was possible to get a bucket to rinse my underwater camera, he said they had no buckets, I asked about a cleaning bucket to return it within 15 mins, but he refused it and did not offer any option. The reception staff was mire busy chatting among them and couldn't have cared less about guests. Extremely disappointing stay, completely overpriced for what one gets...KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

The property is safe and clean. It is convenient as a pick up point for tours and day trips.

Room was big and beautiful! W love the 4 pools. Breakfast excellent with all the topical fruits.
