The staff are lovely but the room was very dirty. I had to request another clean because bedsheets were dirty on arrival, hadn't been changed. After this the room stank, I think its because the carpet was very dirty bit I am not sure

The staff was friendly, my inability to get my deposit back put a bad taste in our mouths.

The bathroom was modern and the amenities were good

Cons:

The room was a throw-back to the 70's in terms of decor. Lighting was poor, and none of the electrical outlets were working properly. Everythig that we plugged in fell out of the sockets. The phone and the coffee maker were found plugged causing us to crawl around to find out why they were inoperable.
Finally, I have been calling this hotel after my Overnight honeymoon stay in order to get my $150 gratuity fee a promised and I have gotten arun around since then.

It was said there is a deposit 150$ for stay and it should be refunded to my bank card. I asked staff, but they didn’t give my money back. It was the worst experience in New York. I texted them, they said it was transferred to my card, however I couldn’t find any transaction history in my bank card. I didn’t expect this happened in the USA. As an active traveler, I have never faced with such a problem.
I texted them asking refund reference numbers, still no response

Great experience!
Pros:

Close to Barclays center for our concert. Breakfast was awesome at the on-site restaurant. Room was small but clean and comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend. Just a little on the price side but overall would highly recommend!

Pros:

The location is great, very close to the subway, local restaurants and bars. The bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

The hotel is quite old and you can eventually feel it in the facilities. Also it's pet friendly and won't be convenient to people with dog allergies. We didn't see that beforehand and got a room with a very strong presence of a former guest dog. The hotel tried their best to clean it, but it didn't really help.

The stay was not enjoyable because the odor from the carpet was unbearable.

There was a foul odor coming from the carpet in the room. I called the front desk to have housekeeping spray some deodorizer in the room or on the carpet, but nobody came to the room. There was also dust in the closet and where the refrigerator and microwave were located.
