Brilliant historical location close to airport and sites
Pros:

Brilliant location-close to airport (15 SD), great relaxed residential area called Katong - mix of historic Peranakan and nice modern buildings, loads of cafes/restaurants. Metro close with easy trip to Bay of Gardens and Raffles etc. Safe to wander around the area. Excellent restaurant at bottom of hotel or cheaper street food close by. Friendly English pub The Little Pig nearby
Stayed in King corner room which was a good size and had two windows, nice bathroom. King deluxe second visit had windows and shutters (cheaper rate as booked directly with reception).
Lovely staff. Lovely reception area with Peranakan tiles.
Pool nice but not much shade.

Great after all, thank you.
Pros:

Location is the best
Cleanliness is great but facilities are second, just my room has some water leaking issues with the bidet that made the bathroom floor half wet all the time and slippery, anyway, bathtub was a plus point.
The swimming pool and the jacuzzi at the rooftop was a charm.
Staffs are friendly and welcoming during my stay, they’re always glad to assist. Thank you.

Pros:

I've stayed here twice with my 7-year old son and both times staff have gone above and beyond to help us. Comfortable rooms with some free snacks and drinks provided.

Het hotel staat in een gezellige volksbuurt, niet geteisterd door hoge gebouwen en de heerlijke restaurants in de ommiddelijke nabijheid. Goede bus/metroverbindingen met de stad en vliegveld

Pros:

A short walk from bus 36 stop at Marine Parade. Bus 36 connects directly to the airport making this a great stop over location. The hotel is older but well renovated. The staff are helpful and luggage is no problem. I enjoyed using the pool to refresh after a long flight.

Very Central location in busy Katong, nice value!
Pros:

Location is great in Katong! Room was a bit tight but the bathroom was really nice. It's a great layover stop... the imall is just down the block. There is a rooftop pool but did not get to try it. Were I to stay longer, I might opt for a bigger room but the one we had was more than adequate. The staff are nice and they kept our extra piece of luggage for us over our week away. Bed was very comfy, and there is a nice coffee machine in the lobby. There is a kettle in the room but the cups were quite tiny! Not exactly angmo sized:) but the lobby machine is very good. 7-11 is right around the corner, as were so many places to eat, and socialize, and mrt is so convenient as well as East Coast Park! Fairly busy street but no remarkable noise disturbance. Price is pretty fair. Historic building is well repurposed!

Cons:

Not much to dislike besides tiny coffee cups, but that is an easy fix!! I hate to even mention it! Happy to stay again!

Convenient hotel very nicely situated in the hip Katong area, not far from the airport with a nice p
Pros:

The hotel is right next to a Merci Marcel French restaurant. The food there for dinner and breakfast was excellent. In fact there are many restaurants and cafes in the Katong area, a very lively area and closer to the airport than other places I've stayed at.
The pool was excellent ! Quite a big pool with room for quite a few people. Water was just the right temperature.
The foyer/reception area is beautifully decorated showcasing Peranakan tiles on the walls. Photo coming of this. Reception staff helped call for a taxi 😃
