A cozy and welcoming stay with thoughtful service
Pros:

This was honestly one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at when it comes to comfort and service. I didn’t have super high expectations at first, but from the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us so warmly and helped carry our luggage up to the 3rd floor. Everyone we met was genuinely kind and easy to talk to. They’d make small talk and it just made the whole stay feel more personal and relaxed.

One time we asked about laundry and when we checked how much it would cost, the staff told us not to worry about it. That really surprised us in a good way. I was also waiting for a package that didn’t arrive on time, and they even offered to contact me in case it showed up so they could forward it to my next hotel. That kind of thoughtfulness really meant a lot.

The place itself is beautiful very homey with a nice vintage feel. The Christmas decorations made it extra cozy and added to the atmosphere.

I was also really happy they provide drinking water. It sounds simple, but that’s not always a given in Canada, so I appreciated it a lot. They also have coffee and tea available all day, which was perfect for a late-night drink. Breakfast was good too simple but satisfying. Overall, it just felt like a place that genuinely cares about its guests.

Cons:

There are a few steps before the entrance, so keep that in mind even if you book a ground-floor room. It’s something to consider, especially if you’re traveling with elderly guests.

I also wish there had been more variety with the breakfast. It was mostly the same every day, except for New Year’s Day when there was a bit of a change (some baked stuff which is good).

Un hôtel au charme d'antan.
Pros:

J'ai beaucoup aimé le charme de l'hôtel. le personnel très accueillant et attentif, le superbe petit-déjeuner.
Très agréable aussi de s'asseoir au calme dans le salon devant le feu de cheminée après une longue marche dans la ville et de prendre un thé ou un café à disposition.
Avec en plus, un excellent rapport qualité prix.

A comfortable reliable option in a very convenient location
Pros:

Various options for breakfast: a few different breads and pastries, a yogurt bar with mueslis and dried fruit, boiled eggs and sausages, along with coffee and tea.

Cons:

The bathroom smelled a bit stale, and the shower drained slowly. It might need some maintenance but it didn't affect us much

Amazing stay in Montreal!
Pros:

This is a great place! Rooms are big, friendly staff and great breakfast. Worth the money for sure! Also good location.
