Un séjour de travail, vécu presque comme un loisir
Pros:

J’apprécie dans l’Hotel Des Arts, en premier lieu, la gentillesse, la discrétion et l’efficacité du personnel. La gestion de Philippe Le Bourhis en est certainement responsable pour une large part, en plus de la serviabilité naturelle déjà très développée au Vietnam. Ensuite son emplacement au cœur Historique de Saigon, lui permet permet de faire des sorties à pied fréquentes ou d’atteindre rapidement beaucoup d’endroits prisés pour y faire des réunions.

Cons:

Je ne vois pas vraiment de détail qui serait réellement critiquable dans cet hôtel.

Overall, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I accidentally booked a twin room instead of a king room, but when I arrived at the hotel and asked for assistance, they not only arranged the room exactly as I wanted but also gave me a room on the 21st floor. It was really relaxing.

Cons:

Coffee too sweet. Bread a bit hard (I mean not really fresh). The seaweed and tofu soup had a slightly fishy smell/taste. Breakfast wasn’t really appealing to me. The iced milk coffee I ordered was a bit too sweet, and it seemed like the staff misunderstood me. Earlier, I ordered a flat white, but about two minutes later I went back to the female staff member and said, ‘Could you please change my order from a flat white to an iced milk coffee?’ In the end, I still received two cups of coffee.

I rarely write reviews, but this stay truly deserves one.

Our entire experience at Hotel des Arts Saigon was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful, the atmosphere is unique, and everything is managed at a very high level.

However, what made our stay truly exceptional was the concierge – especially Nhat.

He is one of the most attentive, friendly, and genuinely kind people I have ever met. From the very first moment, he made us feel welcome and taken care of. His recommendations were always excellent, perfectly matching what we were looking for, and they significantly enhanced our time in Saigon.

What stands out most is his mindset: always smiling, always present, and incredibly detail-oriented. You can tell that he truly cares about guests and takes pride in delivering an outstanding experience.

It’s rare to meet someone who makes such a lasting impression – Nhat definitely did.

Thanks to him (and the whole team), our stay was not just good, but truly unforgettable.

Highly recommended – we will definitely come back.

Cons:

Au check in, un verre d'accueil est servi (très appréciable) mais on sent qu'il faut vite partir pour céder la place, ce qui n'est pas très agréable pour un 5 étoiles.
La place est trop limitée autour de la piscine, on est obligé d'attendre en plein soleil qu'une place se libère.
Le bar du rooftop n'est pas très agréable, il n'y a pas assez d'espace, pas d'accueil, on sent que les serveurs sont débordés.
Dommage qu'il n'y ait d'accès gratuit au hammam et au sauna.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The team of staff were very friendly. Would recommend.
Pros:

Good location, only a short walk to the W ahh r Remnants museum, Cathedral ( currently closed for renovation) and Book Street. Very comfortable. Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Great nighttime view from rooftop bar. Excellent breakfast choice.

A spectacular suite and a genuinely memorable start to our Vietnam holiday
Pros:

We stayed in a suite at Hotel Des Arts Saigon - MGallery for two nights and it was nothing short of spectacular, setting the tone beautifully for what turned out to be a wonderful trip through Vietnam.

The suite itself exceeded expectations in every way, and the lounge was a real highlight, lovely sparkling wine, beautifully presented appetizers, and cocktails that were genuinely superb. The kind of lounge that makes you want to linger.

The food across the hotel was genuinely impressive at every level. We tried several of the dining options during our stay, cocktails on the rooftop, a buffet lunch at the Asian Kitchen, dinner at the ground floor cafe, and the breakfast buffet, and the quality was consistently excellent across all of them. The breakfast buffet in particular was impressive enough that we chose it over the lounge breakfast, where the offerings were more limited by comparison. It’s rare for a hotel to deliver so well across multiple venues and dining styles, and it really added to the overall experience.

There was one minor disappointment during our stay. The rooftop pool had a filtration issue that left the water cloudy, which meant we weren’t able to use it. However, what turned a potential negative into a positive was the response from the hotel. General Manager Philippe was outstanding. He took our feedback seriously, was genuinely interested in our experience, and the pool was drained and refilled promptly. Unfortunately the timing meant we missed out on a swim, but the responsiveness and care shown by Philippe and his team left us with nothing but goodwill.

That kind of attentive, genuine hospitality is what separates a good hotel from a great one, and Hotel Des Arts Saigon is firmly in the latter category. We would not hesitate to recommend it for anyone seeking a true five star experience in Ho Chi Minh City.

Perfekte Lage und exzellenter Service

Sehr feines Hotel in exzellenter Lage. Freundlicher Empfang, alles sehr gut organisiert. Die Zimmer sind modern und stilvoll. Es gibt ein Option das Zimmer mit einem Skylounge Paket zu verbinden, was einen sehr guten High Tea sowie eine Cocktail / Getränke Auswahl beinhaltet. Insgesamt sehr wertig.
