Can’t make chicken salad out of chicken…
Pros:

First of all I want to express my appreciation for the entire staff they were excellent. It’s hard to make chicken salad out of chicken $h!t. It’s obvious the owner has decided not to fix anything. Holes in ceilings, pool and hot tub out of order for months, exercise equipment broken, ice machine out of order, out dated furnishings.Thank goodness for the squared away “granny” at the desk getting a night comped. I grew up 3 blocks from the Gladstone and know what a gem it once was. A shout out to my classmate Darby making the restaurant run like a fine tuned machine. Whoever the owner is BE BETTER!!

It was a place to sleep

Listen, it was a place to sleep. It was mostly clean, had a nice fridge and working plumbing. Check in took a good amount of time as the lady didn't know how to work the credit card machine. Bedding is from the 80's. They only have front desk help short hours daily and no stayover cleanings. The bathroom show curtain smelled terribly of mold/mildew. The pool was green and half full. Something out of their control according to the sign at the front desk. Would not stay here again unless forced to

Pros:

Pool closed for maintenance. When traveling with kids, the pool is almost the major deciding factor when picking a hotel. This should be communicated when booking.

Pros:

Very clean and perfect for our stay with our dog.
Only problem was the little coffee machine did not work. I tried to alert the front desk to replace it but no one picked up the phone.
