Great atmosphere. Friendly staff.
We love staying at The Gibson. Friendly staff, clean, spacious rooms, perfect location for shopping and dining~~ Best porch in the south. We love its charm. Excited to see a pool will be added to the experience in the near future.
Great hotel and excellent food
What a great place, full of history. This is a staple of the original Apalachicola. They have bikes you can use to tour around the town, walking distance to the historic district, the water, bars, shopping, so much shopping. Love this place would not stay anywhere else
Very nice, relaxed atmosphere.
Property is convenient to historic downtown. Its original building is very well maintained and has a classic old Florida style. The new additions are very luxurious
Rooms are comfortable and clean. Wish the new pool and hot tube were open. Next time.
Fantastic stay. The new building is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are very spacious, modern, decorated beautifully. Loved it.
Nice inn to stay ,one drawback was no elevators
Beautiful hotel. Gracious service
Wonderful stay! Will go back again!
Do not select a superior room. The room should have been labeled “Inferior Room”. The king bed was very comfortable, but they crammed it into a room with barely any room to move around. There was 18” between the bed and the wall, 12” between the end of the bed and the dresser which made it nearly impossible to open the drawers and the blinds were poorly installed such that you could see around the blinds and into the room. Additionally the light on the outside porch was on all night, and with the poorly installed blinds, it was like sleeping with the lights on.
nice historic town. The water is still an issue, not a lot of restaurants
Great experience
The staff in the lobby was very helpful. There is no elevator to the second floor but they offered to have our baggage carried up. Also we did not get in till 8:45. The restaurant closed at 9:00 but they had no problem seating us and serving us. The food was wonderful. Great experience.
Good place
Want to thank the lady on the phone Friday night helping me!!!!
Property was clean and staff was friendly. Close to the shops in the area and the restaurant had good food.
Very uncooperative management if you have a billing issue. I received a reservation confirmation that was a Grand Suite room for $319 and was charged considerably more. They also knew the city had a boil water advisory and did not notify guests.
We loved the old Florida vibe and our room was more than we expected.
