A very terrible experience,worst still the property issued no apology!

Our recent stay at Hotel Montana in Paris was deeply disappointing and raised serious safety concerns. Beyond the cold room caused by a non‑functional heater, the staff also failed to provide a basic adaptor, despite requests; they said we should buy one for 10 euros nearby. This made it difficult to charge essential devices during my stay.

More worrying was the broken lamp in the room, which exposed a live wire. This is not a minor maintenance issue—it is a genuine safety hazard that should never be present in a guest room. It left me questioning the hotel's overall upkeep and safety standards.

Given these issues, and after reading similar experiences from other guests, I strongly believe Booking.com should review this property’s listing. Consistent reports of poor maintenance and unresolved safety problems suggest a pattern that deserves closer scrutiny.

Until the hotel addresses these concerns properly, I cannot recommend staying here.

Worst ever experience we had on our Europe trip hotel stay.
Pros:

Welcome greet and stored our luggage before making check in. Room not ready when we get there so.

Cons:

Bathroom toilet smells like it has been not used for months.
Shower difficult to fit in.
It was cramp room. No space to put/keep lugguages.
Booking does not match the room.
No heating in room, No additional comforters given when requested,
Room change request ignored
Sleft with lot of flies guarding us in the room
Refund request to look other hotel was not accepted.
All they say was we are full, cannot change, will see next day but NO expected from them. It feels like many conversations with them they always do this bla bla thing thinking that customers comes and go.

It was close too many restaurants

Cons:

The washroom I’ll give 0/10, because the shower didn’t have door so the water was all other the floor and cold. And they don’t have AC. I’ll give 3 star coz was clean and the stuff was friendly and helpful. But the price I paid not worth it for those kind of rooms.

I checked out, and stayed somewhere else for the next 5 days.

Room was tiny. Much smaller than photos indicated. So small I struggled to open my suitcase.
Bathroom smelt really musty (I think they need to clean the drains) - I had to keep the door closed so that I could sleep without the musty pipe smells.
The shower was so small, I couldn't lift my elbows - but at least the water pressure was good :)
After my stay, I asked to leave my bags for collection later that afternoon. They charged me EUR2.50 which I wasn't impressed by, especially after the bad room etc.
