Perfect parador to explore beautiful Oaxaca
Pros:

The location was perfect for a first visit to Oaxaca. The hotel was in an old building with bags of character, a wide stone leading up to the first floor rooms, overlooking the courtyard. Our room was big with high ceiling and two double beds. A small balcony opened up to the hustle and bustle of Calle López. Fan and A/C kept the temperature down. The staff were friendly and helpful without being overbearing, letting you get on with things. The café attached served a good local breakfast. Very happy for 5 nights.

Cons:

Very little. If you are a light sleeper, don’t get a room overlooking the street - there are plenty of rooms around the sides but you give up the balcony and morning sun!

Absolute worst wifi internet ever.
no hot water after 1 hour in the morning

literally nothing in the room - no coffee, no fridge or AC and this is supposed to be 4 star!

Pros:

Location Location ….… el Zócalo y su hermosa Plaza de la Consitución, La Catedral y Plaza Santo Domingo, los mercados Benito Juarez y 20 Noviembre … el hermoso Templo y Exconvento de Santo Domingo, los antiguos lavaderos del convento del siglo XVI ….... estàs en el mismisimo Andador Turustíco en la zona peatonal con excelentes opción de Restaurantes y el Jardin Etnobotánico …. Seguramente te encontrarás por las calles alguna “Calenda” las fiestas de tradición religiosa con musica muy coloridas y populares anunciando a una quinceañera, bodas, bautizos y fiestas patronales !
Todo Todo te lo encuentras cerca del Parador San Agustín….. proxima visita regresamos !
