The hotel was great. The only weird thing is I was one of 2 guests, I couldn't tell that it was open. But it was newly renovated and everything was clean

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great rate and close to everything you need.
For an economy hotel in the middle of nowhere… This hotel is a great option. I would say if you're hungry in the morning plan to find another way to fill your belly because the "continental breakfast" is a little lacking.
The only set back was that the bathroom was small.
Clean rooms the only thing i would say is get taller toilets for taller people. The staff was very helpful

Nice and clean hotel located in a beautiful part of Northern MN. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. It was an enjoyable experience staying at the Walleye Inn and I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Baudette.

The hotel was clean and help was very nice. The only draw back is there is no one on staff during the night. If you need anything you have to call a number.
Short stay, didn't do much except sleep. Given that, the bed was very comfortable and the room was updated and clean.

I liked the cleanliness of the room and front desk service was excellent. My only concern although not major is the lack of lighting in the room. Great place though!
Overall this stay was fine for the room price. My concerns were 1. There was a mouse in our room that was caught in a glue trap that was taken out of room by mgt.. 2. On one of the nights, there were people returning from bars in the hallway next to our room. Loudly talking. Knocking on doors loudly. This was at like 2AM. There was no attendant at the front desk past 8pm. to contact. Mgt. did leave a number to call after hours at front desk, but I wasn't going to walk down to front desk to get number at 2AM.. Would of been nice to be able to readily call mgt. to tell these people to quiet down. Maybe leave that "after hours number" in ea. individual room vs. only at the front desk.
Like: I was able to reserve my room online thru Expedia.
Dislike: It was kind of expensive.
