Hotel Settles

Loved our stay at this beautifully restored historic hotel. The staff was warm and attentive. Our room, the Ryan Suite, was gorgeous. Dining at The Grill was wonderful, their chicken fried steak is not to be missed.

Worth the drive just to stay there – – I could live there !

WOW! This was the nicest hotel. It holds the century old style. It was like going back in time. The price was great.

Recommend eating a drinking at the hotel bar. Great atmosphere drinks and staff.

We are always so impressed at how nice this hotel is. I have been wanting to use the pool and finally had the chance. I was very surprised that the pool area was not impeccable like the rest of the hotel. Especially the jacuzzi - it had lots of bugs in it and could use a facelift.

The food in the restaurant was very good. As for the staff, everyone was amazing. However, there is one who was above them all and she was the evening front desk lady during the week (I do not remember her name). She was so polite, caring and always greeted us with a smile. She even went above this on her day off when we saw her and she came up and greeted us and asked how we were enjoying our vacation. This young lady should get a raise just saying. The property was so amazing and was ultra clean. We will stay again very soon.

We stayed in a large suite with a large sitting area, large bathroom and large shower. The king size bed was comfortable. We had a nice view of the city. I enjoyed all the historic information and photos. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Was there for a wedding and I was hard to believe the bar upstairs wouldn’t take cash so they elected to hang on to my credit card and leave in a plastic box. After paying cash downstairs and clearing what thought was both tabs they charged me again upstairs. Odd. Room was super clean but had trouble getting it to cool off. Love the property as it is AMAZING and thought it was a good price for the room.

Beautifully restored, historic hotel. Our room was huge, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Friendly and obliging staff. The onsite restaurant looked lovely although we did not use it. We arrived during a rainstorm but the hotel lacks a covered drop off area. We got quite wet as we had to park out on the street. This is not a walkable area as there are very few facilities nearby.

Great stay for an overnight work trip! Highly recommend

Clean and comfortable

This hotel is historic (1930s) and beautifully restored. Rooms are absolutely more than you would anticipate, suite-like, spaceous. If staying in Big Spring, don't pass this experience by. Also has a unique bar and terrific restaurant.

Great location in downtown Big Spring (1/2 way to our destination in New Mexico). The entire property is beautiful and fascinating history. The staff and in the restaurant and bar are sup nice and wiling to make accommodations for all request!
