Great Hotel, great location & lovely staff.
Pros:

Just off the beach, walking distance to where our wedding was. Which was in the gardens of Whitstable Castle. Minutes from the town centre. Which is lovely. Very sweet staff, great breakie. Our room was tiny, I had forgotten how tiny a dble bed is !!!l

Cons:

Totally my fault our room was tiny and we were booked in for 3 nights. A dble bed is just too small! But that was all my fault for not booking a king!!!
They sweetly offered us a much larger room for the last night but by that time we just couldn’t be bothered to move. Very sweet of them to offer!

Pros:

The self contained unit was great for our group. The outdated decor, furnishings and china added wonderfully to the ambiance of our stay. Breakfast was good. Location was good to walk along the beach into the town.

Pros:

I recommend getting to the hotel for 1pm on check in day or you may not get a parking space at the hotel. Room not available till 3. Great breakfast .. small room

Perfect stay for a getaway!
Pros:

Lovely property, great bar, close to the beach and a 5 minute walk into town. Good breakfast and Dinner, the chef is amazing. Super friendly staff!

Cons:

Expensive for what it is. Rooms are small for the price.

Pros:

Room was good and comfortable. Breakfast was very good except for fried eggs which do not work if they are say on a hot plate. They need to be cooked to order and I thought that on our last visit they were, maybe not.

Good but glad it was only 4 nights in that cramped room

Cons:

The room we were given, no 8, was far too small to be a double, The only space for clothes was five hangers, no drawers, and nowhere to put suitcases. it was very difficult moving round the room.

The bathroom would have been much better if the bath were removed - it was undersized, It would enable a better shower to be installed, the toilet roll holder to be positioned higher and the towel rail to be better placed, I had to stand on tip toe to put my towel on it.

I would not stay anywhere else while this hotel is here.

Family room in main hotel with comfy Superking and a single bed. Single bed in an area affiording some privacy for granddaughter.

Great furnishings. Clean. Good bathrooms.
Good last minute deals for visiting family nearby at short notice and short breaks

Cons:

Lots of stairs so some may find it hard to manage the top floor access.

The best hotel in Whitstable, great staff, great location, great food
Pros:

Just spent the weekend at this wonderful sea front hotel. The staff are so very friendly and welcoming, the rooms are immaculate so clean. Many overlooking the sea, a short walk along the sea front to the harbour. Breakfast has lots of choices with a chef constantly cooking fresh eggs. Parking if you arrive by 1pm at the hotel.
This is our third visit and know there will be many more. Thank you for your personal kindness with a situation that arose before our visit, very compassionate of you all.
We will be back.!
