The size of the room it was very small and no bath.
The location on the seafront is perfect, and the hotel itself is a very attractive building. The breakfast was also excellent and we found the free hotel parking very useful.
Our double room, although comfortable and with all the amenities we needed, was small and a bit cramped for the 2 of us, but for another time there are bigger rooms available.
Its position on the seafront and it was a very decent breakfast..
The room was fine and clean if a little on the small side. The balcony view was uninspiring.
Great location, and view. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast good.
Room a little cramped but only stayed one night so fine for that.
Our room had a fabulous dual aspect view of the water, and was a very decent size.
We had the most delicious seafood chowder for lunch when we arrived and the breakfast was also very tasty.
Free car parking was also a bonus and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, someone in the room above us spent a couple of hours scraping a chair across the floor. As the flooring is wooden, there is clearly not a lot of soundproofing!
Although there are nice comfy sofas in the bar area, the dining room could have more atmosphere. It is quite sparse and bare.
Great location, right by the sea. Amazing view from the room
Rooms was smaller than looked on the picture
Bar area relaxed to sit around in
Slightly noisy at times due to rooms, including one above being uncarpeted but this all part of hotel ambience
Staff were welcoming
Nothing
Perfect location, view from the window was perfect
Overpriced food and the quality and quantity is questionable-ie,Thai prawns for starters consisted of 3 rubbery prawns for £12,ridiculous!fish was overcooked too
The room was small but had everything we needed for a one night stay. Breakfast was included and amazing with a sea view from the window. the staff were friendly and helpful.
Parking was on a first come first served basis, otherwise you need to pay for parking on the street.
The bar
The bacon was far too salty
This is a lovely little hotel on the edge of Whitstable, about 10 mins walk from the central hub, and so proximate to everything you need but slightly out of the way, which I loved. Right on the beach, away from the traffic, I had a sea view room with a balcony that was just perfect. The breakfast room/bar also has big windows with views and is a lovely place to hang out. It has a small establishment/family run vibe and everything is white and clean. Good walks along the seafront either into Whitstable or the other way towards Herne Bay - can recommend the Lobster Shack, on a promentary less than 5 mins away.
That I could only spend two nights - I will definitely be back.
Breakfast and location were really excellent. Staff very friendly.
Walls are a bit thin if you have noisy neighbours.
