A hidden gem
Pros:

This is a small hotel witha great friendly vibe - pleasantly old-fashioned in feel.

Cons:

No complaints. There was a slight mix-up with rooms (another guest with the same family name - what are the odds?) which was delat with very professionally.

Happy times at The Hotel Continental.
Pros:

The location beside the beach. We also had a large unexpected decked terrace which was lovely with chairs and a table. The room was lovely and there was a good fan which was definitely appreciated.

Cons:

Found out they dont do evening meals on Sunday night...we were looking forward to eating downstairs.

Lovely stay in Whitstable, would recommend.
Pros:

Love the location, right on the beach front but away from the busy town. Breakfast is amazing as well! The staff are lovely and friendly. It’s my go to for a stay in Whitstable.

Cons:

The bed mattress is too hard for me but that is just a personal preference.

Great location, fab staff, Penny Lodge was a gem of a find. Highly recommend.

Loved the retro look in Penny Lodge. Really
Comfortable and perfect for 3 friends sharing.
Location was excellent.
Breakfast was superb.

Cons:

I hadn’t asked for a parking space as I thought I would arrive too late to secure one. I parked about a 5 min walk away and then was told I had a space on arrival. An email or note on my booking would have been really helpful before I arrived.

Good break for us food was excellent and we enjoyed the break
Pros:

Everything was good the staff we lovely and it was very clean and tidy everywhere.

Cons:

No allocated parking it was difficult at times
Our room was not very big .
We would have liked a sea view I didn’t realise we booked a side seat view .
