It was a lovely hotel, I was really surprised how nice the rooms were, and I was lucky enough to get a balcony !
The staff were lovely too, the lady that I booked in with was awesome !
Will deffo be returning next time I'm out on the town in whitstable !!
Absolutely nothing !
Ok
Size of bedroom
Great staff, great views!
It’s a smidge further from the town BUT it’s opposite the beech so it’s a good location all in all.
Lovely staff, clean, very comfortable
Staff were very helpful.
Beds & pillows were uncomfortable.
Close to everything, apart from the train station.
The room was small, over looking a roof and side of the car park. Could not open windows fully. The bathrooms floor is raised a little and we kept stabbing our toes from the bedroom to the bathroom.
Popped in by the off chance on Easter Sunday and had the most delicious roast dinner! Staff were super kind and friendly too. Thank you.
Only downfall is no cash accepted. Such a shame.
It was clean, comfortable, the staff were friendly and very helpful and the location was lovely. Everything was excellent. We will definitely stay there again 😊
There wasn't anything that we didn't like
The whole hotel was very presentable and well maintained throughout. Having the bar seating area and restaurant close together created a cosy atmosphere. The quality of the evening menu was excellent as was the breakfast.
The stairs were a bit of a challenge for a 78 year old but worth it!
Location perfect. Only problem was room ultra small, hardly room for two people to move in. But all facilities in the room were excellent and therewas a mini balcony to sit out. No comfy chair so for rest in day I stayed on bed while husb sat on comfy chair outside room.
What a fantastic hotel. The setting is perfect - it's just off to the side of the town, so very quiet, and right on the waterfront. The rooms are bright, clean, and comfortable, and just very pleasant to be in. The breakfast was great - the restaurant area is very nice, too; we had a drink in there before we checked in, and the food looked good. All the staff members I spoke with were very friendly and helpful.
Nothing except leaving: I really regretted not booking an extra night or two!
Location and breakfast. Onsite parking was convenient. Bathroom nice.
Room was small, very warm during the night, no carpets so lots of noise from room above. Reception staff weren't very welcoming.
Bathroom fan stays on for a long time after use - annoying in the night. Kettle could only be filled using the bath taps (after moving the shower screen). Too easy to knock the main light switches on from the bedside, waking my wife in the middle of the night.
Drinks at the bar were very expensive
