Lovely break
Pros:

The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. We eat at the hotel every evening and for breakfast and it was excellent. Hotel overlooks the sea lovely views. The hotel is quite a way out of the town bit disappointing but a lovely hotel.

Cons:

Our only complaint was the Room was so small upgraded to a balcony room thinking it would be nice but the furniture outside need updating. These rooms are on the top floor lots of stairs no lift. And the sink in the bathroom so small everything got wet you couldn't help it. Be careful with the cold tap the water pressure you get soaked. Shower is over the bath nothing to hold onto to get in and out. If the room and everything was a bit bigger I would have scored 10 for everything.

Pros:

The friendly and polite receptionist and the staff. They were helpful and pleasant. Clean, humble and comfortable room. We had two different rooms with windows that you could see the sea, sunset and trees out there. So relaxing.

Cons:

We enjoyed the breakfast, but a little too greasy.

Exceeded our expectations
Pros:

Ideally situated almost on the beach. No through traffic but ideal for a quick walk into town or a visit to Whitstable Castle. Staff friendly and attentive. Restaurant very pleasant with good selection of meals.

Cons:

Small car park - 5 or 6 places at best.

Great stay at the Hotel Continental.
Pros:

It’s on the seafront. The bar is comfortable. The staff are lovely, the bar staff, the receptionists, everyone. Food is great.
