The staff, location, breakfast and accommodation are faultless. We have stayed many times and will be back again soon.
The facilities are quite basic but the space, view and staff more than compensate.
Due to a system error, my original booking for a room in the hotel was upgraded to a stay in one of the separately located Fisherman’s Hut’s owned and managed by the hotel. The huts are located on the beach in the centre of town offering amazing sea views in a light, airy, beach chic room.
Nothing. It was an ideal property for our trip.
Flott beliggenhet! En koselig og hyggelig atmosfære. God mat og muligheter for å nyte sjøutsikten til et glass eller en matbit. Anbefales!
Litt små rom, men behagelig og god seng.
Great position
Clean rooms
Excellent staff
Excellent breakfast
Ideal for short breaks
Bed was a bit uncomfortable
Penny lodge was amazing.. very clean and well presented. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Loved the location breakfast was good ( only thing lacking was seeded brown bread but thats my preference) apart from that everything was amazing.
Thank you ☺️
Nothing! Penny lodge was an absolute pleasure
Great breakfast
Bit of noise on balcony from kitchen vent
This was our third visit just love it there x The hotel, the location, the food, the staff, the rooms - all perfect x
Not a thing
Great location, lovely breakfast and unique accommodation.
Nothing
Close to the beachfront. The room was very modern and lovely decor, and had a nice terrace to sit. A small fan was situated in the room, which was appreciated. Breakfast was good and the dining areas were very nice, spacious and nicely decorated. We did not require housekeeping, and a small box of tea and coffee refills were left outside the, as well as water for our final night there, which was thoughtful. Very fast check-in and check-out too.
A later check-out (12 noon, instead of 11am) would be preferred. A mini fridge would be nice, to keep the cans of water cool.
Noise from the floor above was at times easy to notice, and would be up to midnight, but mostly they
I'm were heavy footfalls.
Great location, very roomy.
We stayed in Penny Lodge.
The Penny lodge theme is supposed to be 70s l think. the place was dark, dated, uncomfy furniture and smelt damp. We all agreed. Just looked like noone cared about it. Actually was a bit creepy.
So different to the main hotel building. Wouldn't stay there again.
Virkelig et hyggeligt hotel - god valuta for pengene
The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Staff were really nice and friendly and my room was clean and comfortable
£25 for fish and chips was extremely exprnsive for the size of portion I got. The food was delicious but the size of fish was small and the chips were clearly from a packet
Great Location. Live music on Friday was excellent.
Room was very small and no fridge in the room
Near the sea, having a bath, restaurant meal, staff friendly
Hard mattress, stuffy and hot in very small room. Very basic breakfast.
We’d booked via booking.com and I got a message very late the night before that my booking had cancelled. We had activity’s booked, meal with colleagues etc .
I then rang around all the local hotels but of course all was fully booked. I then went to Whitstable as per our booking arrangements arrived late whilst trying to find alternative accommodation. We then arrived at the hotel late after our office activities but could not find the cottage. Then got a staff member to come and help us find it and get in. The accommodation was locked, staff member was kicking the door etc. we finally got in after waiting over an hour. Booking was £280!!
As above
Clean and also the staff were friendly
The pillows weren’t the most comfortable
