Ganz tolle Lage direkt am Meer. Sehr nette Gastgeberin und gutes Restaurant. Sundowner auf der Terrasse war wunderschön.
We are always happy to stay at this hotel
Nothing - all good for both rooms thank you
Superb location, very helpful staff and well cooked and presented food.
This hotel is a must if staying in Whitstable, period appeal, superb location by the beach, close to the working harbour and some great restaurants & pubs.
Air-conditioning would be a great addition, but open windows and the sea breeze worked well. I was there during two days when temperature records were broken.
Good value property that catered for whole family staying parking space self catering if you want great value.
Not enough plugs
Our room, the bar/ restaurant the outside patio with the views
Nothing at all
We booked so early for our first two nights, because it was the hotel for my elder son's wedding, that we had to book direct with the hotel. We then booked an extra night with Booking.com. The Seaview, round the 24 hour clock, was amazing and photogenic. The breakfasts were superb. The staff were all helpful, informative and all that we could ask. The parking was very convenient. The location was fantastic, with a brilliant view across the Thames Estuary to Sheppey and Southend, especially the lights at night. Great event in Whitstable Castle, just up the hill from the back of the hotel. Great stay at the Continental.
The lack of lift in the hotel (thoough we knew about it beforehand, and are both, happily, able-bodied, but in our 70s/80s). The wardrobe hangers were parallel to the room wall, so it was more fiddly than if it had been sideways on for easy access. We prefer a walk-in shower rather than having to step into a bath to have a shower.
Location was good
Room full of dusty areas also midget flies and room too hot. With no air conditioning
Great location with views of the sea and lovely public areas
My only complaint would be room was quite small and no drawers for clothes .
Cleanliness in hotel excellent and its location equally the same.
No shower rails in the shower so easy to loose one's balance. Also the bed mattress rock hard. The newly laid corridor carpets prone to accidents because there are no warning patterns on the edge of each run, so it's easy to miss the hidden step
The breakfast eatable but let down by the fried eggs waiting to be rescued in a pool of excessive oil. The cook could be more welcoming.
Architecture très jolie hôtel tout blanc et face a la mer
Comfortable bed, the fans as was hot! Location to beach right opposite. Room spacious and clean
Didn't ruin stay but unable to park in carpark as full but plenty of paying options right out front of hotel
Sea front location. Friendly staff
Good to have bikes storage but very cramped for touring bikes rather than touring bike. Low pitched fan noise at night
Very clean and well maintained - comfortable and welcoming
N/A
polite and cheerful staflf.
Locations right in the beach
Parking at hotel or right out the front
Very clean through out the hotel
And rooms
Staff welcome on reception was lovely bar staff and morning breakfast ladies were very friendly and nice
The standard room is small but has a step out balcony which was good to open up and have open over night
Great location and fab view.
Bedroom was very small although described as deluxe.
