Great location for visiting York: short walks to all the main sites, and very quiet at night. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the room was very comfortable with all we needed. I thought the daily cleaning was wonderful with much better service than I expected. Breakfast options were very good with made to order eggs and other dishes. I would stay here again.

انه لايوجد خدمه غرف كما حصل معي باكسفورد بصراحه المفروض بوكنج يكتبون هذه الملاحظه حين الحجز. كذلك كان الازعاج يوميا صباحا من الغرف العلويه والملاصقه لايوجد عازل فحين يتم تنظيفهم اعتقد العامله تحرك الاثاث وانزعج في نومي كل يوم من س 7 ص

Expensive breakfast
Picked this hotel as was looking for somewhere to stay near to The Barbican, it really is, only took around 5 or 6 minutes to walk to which was brilliant. Didn't realise how central this hotel was until I stayed here, everything is in walking distance so not a need to use taxis.
Didn't have breakfast but did have a meal in the restaurant, which was lovely, and really good value for money.
It's situated just off the main hub so is a nice, quiet place to chill and relax.
The reception and restaurant staff were so lovely. Really nice and friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable of the area.
Will definitely stay here again when visiting York
There wasn't anything I didn't like
What a beautiful hotel in a brilliant location. They blond lady at reception was a ray of sunshine and so helpful. Our room was much bigger than we expected and the bathroom absolutely stunning. The bath was amazing and double showers. The bed was very comfortable although on the firm side. Brilliamt location especially for foodies.
The only negative was the room wasn't very soundproof. We could hear the room next door dragging chairs around and talking loudly on the second night.

I like that is walking distance to the shambles, yet it on the quieter side with many restaurants along the street.
The hotel itself is very comfortable abd their staff are very friendly and helpful too. This is my second time staying in this hotel.
