Excellent Stay, With Exceptional Staff & A Great Night's Sleep
Pros:

The staff are always excellent and friendly, the hotel is in a quiet street and ideally located. The room is a great size, calming and the beds are comfortable. We appreciated the iron board and hairdryer. Breakfast is brilliant, a wide choice and staff are always bright and helpful. Lovely hotel and IHG should be proud of their staff and hard work.

Cons:

This is hard.... the only thing I could think of and this is minor but the curtains could be a little more on the black-out side. But in most rooms I expect this would not be an issue. It was only because we had the lights from the kitchen below and they did turn off.

Good location and staff not quite the standard we were expecting
Pros:

The staff were helpful and friendly, the communal areas were easy to find, breakfast was also ok, a descent selection. The hotel and rooms were of a good clean standard. Location was also convenient near all the sites and restaurants.

Cons:

The room was a bit disappointing, dark and narrow. The bathroom was awkward to use based on the set up wear the wc and basin were fitted, not much room as you got out of the shower. The basin was also cracked and stained.

Pros:

The location was geeat

Cons:

The bathroom was clean but dated, nothing like pictures. The bed was rock solid. Awoken at 02.00 from a LOUD CLICKING/BANGING NOISE we videod this staff disinterested. Breakfast was plentiful but quality poor and items only lukewarm.

Pros:

Reception was quick, helpful and courteous. The room was immaculately prepared with all the facilities you would expect and more. WiFi was excellent in the room. The beds were extremely large and comfortable. Air conditioning was very efficient. Car parking was just a two minute walk from the hotel and there was a drop off point right outside. Location was a ten minute walk to the city centre and the yo/yo bus stop was two minutes away.

Cons:

The only downside was that the restaurant, apart from breakfast, only served pasta. There were however plenty of bars and restaurants within an easy fifteen minute walk

Great apart from parking
Cons:

The only problem was the car park, you are told available is small so first come get a space. But not told where. I parked up at the back of the hotel thinking it’s the hotel car park. It’s got private land signs up, but doesn’t say for whom it’s owned by. When I went to reception they told me I need to move it as it wasn’t there car park. I hope I don’t get a parking ticket ( only there for 5 min but these business can be strict. Just tell people to pull up along the side of the hotel to book in and get instructions to the car park. If I get a ticket I will forward it on the the hotel
