SpringHill Suites by Marriott Mobile West

We purposely chose the Springhill Suites in Mobile. AL for our stay because we have been consistently satisfied with the facility and with the personnel. This stay did not disappoint. We were especially impressed with the courtesy and interactions we received from the desk staffer, Sue. We recommend this location to our family and friends traveling to the Mobile, AL area.

Sue at the front desk was friendly and efficient. housekeeping was responsive, and the ladies helping with breakfast were cheerful and polite under pressure.

I noticed they are still making improvements and restoring the property. I also stayed here in 2025 and could see a noticeable difference when I returned a year later. If all goes well, I hope to return in 2027 and see even more updates. The hotel is in a good area, and I felt safe during my stay.

Stay was overall nice. I wish the breakfast was a better variety.

Maintenance: Devonte (hotel maintenance) was very good! This young man was very professional and corrected an issue of the room being hot. He put in a new unit as well as a new thermostat. We were uncomfortable over night and had to purchase and use an extra fan but he fixed the situation the next morning. Food: Good variety each day. A step up from continental breakfast. Pool was treated and cleaned by Devonte. Front desk staff average but friendly. Hotel accessible to area restaurants and 10-15 minutes from downtown.

Sue was AMAZING!!! The whole staff went above and beyond to accommodate our stay with everything we needed. Everything was clean, comfy and high quality. The rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable.

Sue took such good care of our tennis team while we were staying and playing in mobile, Alabama. Rooms were clean and spacious and Sue went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend her and the hotel.

Love this place. Sue is the best! Always receive a warm welcome with efficient service. Makes me feel special. A regular stop for me in my travels to/from Texas/ South Carolina! Just like home, but don’t have to cook or makeup my bed!! Great breakfast. Reasonable prices. Clean and spacious rooms.

Being by myself I appreciated the well-lit parking area and the location. It was a nice surprise to be given a bag with water and cookie and something else???
