SpringHill Suites by Marriott Mobile West

This hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. They cannot help the location not being the nicest, but the upkeep is awful. Stains all over the carpet in the halls and rooms. Stains on decorative pillows and couches. I even found a used folded up tissue on the desk in my room. The sheets didn’t even fit the mattress. No towels in the gym and extremely dirty equipment (rusted weights). Highly recommend finding a more upgraded courtyard or something nearby. I was also nicely greeted with a ‘what’s your last name’ when I walked in, and the lady must have learned how to type that morning.

Room was spacious & clean. Service was good, breakfast was lacking. The exhaust fan in the bathroom ran continuously with no way to turn it off. Annoying sound while trying to sleep.

Overall A nice hotel and will stay there again.

The room was spacious, and decently clean, although the floors could have definitely been vacuumed better. Our tub began draining very slowly on Friday night so my husband notified the front desk at 6am. He was told that maintenance does not work on the weekend, but could maybe be called in, which is crazy since thats the busiest time. We left and returned around midnight to shower. No one had entered the room, so of course the shower was still draining slowly. I called the front desk and notified them and they did not even have any notes saying that we told them that morning. Maintenance had never been called and due to the hotel being booked, we could not even be moved to a different room. This was highly frustrating and we checked out the following morning. I advised them of the issue and all I got from the front desk clerk was I'll notify the manager. The elevators and hallways were dirty and the luggage carts were absolutely filthy. They were so dirty that we put down some towels on the cart prior to placing our luggage on it. This used to be a nice hotel that we have stayed at before, but due to the neglect and shameful maintenance policies, we will not be staying there again.

Staff was very nice. Hotel was clean and room was very spacious.

Very nice staff and convenient location. The hotel is an easy drive to several of the hospitals and easy access to restaurants.

The Springhill Suites in Mobile, AL was an older hotel and it showed. The towels were old and looked stained. We would have used them for rags at my house. The bathroom caulk job looked like a 3rd grader applied the caulk. Hallway carpets need to be cleaned. The breakfast was not anywhere close to what I have experienced at other Springhill Suites (eg. Coralville, Iowa) .... and I even paid extra for the breakfast. We didn't get anything at the breakfast other than coffee.
However, the young lady at my check-in was fantastic! She made me feel welcome and important as a guest.
This is about what I have come to expect at all hotels. They are simply not well taken care for and not worth the $$$ we pay to stay at them. Glad that I am semi-retired and don't stay in hotels nearly as much as I once did.

We needed a hotel that was safe to park our sprinter van with ebikes over night and this hotel was in a safe area. Hotel was clean with very pleasant staff. Comfortable bed. Will stay here again. It was worth the value.

Great location when staying in Mobile and close to the highway. The site is clean and well maintained. Thanks to Sue who makes the stay enjoyable.

Breakfast was great! Hot, delicious omelettes and turkey sausages, clean breakfast area.

Literally the cleanest shower I’ve ever had. Bed was comfortable. Great accommodations. Easy location. Parking was great. Smelled really nice. Friendly staff

Helping a friend drive her disabled husband home from South Florida to Houston on Saturday and made it to Mobile. Looking for a place to stay I grabbed my Bonvoy app and the Spring Hill Suites popped up. One phone call to Shanette at the front desk and she took great care of us. She checked availability and checked the room to see if everything we required was available. It was and when we arrived 15 minutes later she walked my friend to the room for approval. Once approved, she booked us in and made us feel very welcome. The room was clean, well appointed and a perfect fit. When it’s late and you’re tired Shanette provided the kind of customer service everyone deserves! Well done!

The space

Front desk agent was courteous. Check in was quick. Room was spacious and clean totally up to Marriott standards. I would definitely stay here again
