This was our second time staying here and we’ll definitely be returning in the future. We adored our experience here. The location is perfect, the hotel is fab and staff are incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here.
Not a deslike at all, but the hotel would be even more enjoyable if it was adults only.
We stayed at the InterContinental Cascais in November 2025 for the third time in four years, and once again, the experience was absolutely outstanding. The room was excellent as always, and the terrace—with its stunning sea views—remains one of our favourite parts of the stay.
The service is consistently superb, and this trip was no different. A special mention to Mr. Pedro, Mr. Paolo, and Mr. Bernardo, who were exceptional throughout. The staff here truly set the hotel apart with their professionalism and warmth.
The location is fantastic, and the views from the room’s terrace are simply beautiful. This time, we also tried the gym, and it was very good.
Overall, I can confidently say that this is one of the best hotels in Europe. Already looking forward to our next stay!
cOn the first day of our stay, we had no hot water. We reported the issue to the front desk that evening, and it was not resolved until the middle of the following day. On the second day, I discovered that the hair dryer was not working, although it was replaced fairly quickly later that day.
By the third day, we encountered another issue — this time with the cold water. No matter how the shower or sink faucet was adjusted, even on the cold setting, only extremely hot water came out. I actually burned my leg while showering. I chose not to report the issue because I did not want to appear to be someone complaining every day.
Additionally, the breakfast was overpriced for the quality and variety offered. Compared to many other hotels we have stayed in, the experience did not meet five-star standards. Guests should not have to search for salt or sugar or repeatedly ask staff for coffee service. The food quality was average at best, and the omelets were bland and tasteless.
Overall, some members of the staff appeared somewhat indifferent and even slightly snobbish, as though they were accustomed to catering exclusively to high-end clientele. Unfortunately, based on the numerous issues we experienced and the level of service provided, I would not consider InterContinental a true five-star hotel.
High quality property - staff and facilities. Felt intimate and luxurious.
At 500 euros per day its top end price wise.
Wonderful location, ocean front
We were disappointed with the service during breakfast no one welcomed us, and we had to look for staff to get coffee.
Additionally, there was no hot water in the room, and we had to call maintenance to fix the issue.
bom pequeno almoço, funcionários e vista.
Limpeza, apanhei pulgas e barulho de limpeza do espaço exterior todo o dia.
An exquisite property. Luxury, service, scale, technology, cleanliness + hospitality. Intercontinental offers it all. Very good spa experience, beautiful breakfast + ocean views and room 210 is quite nice. Great Concierge...Recommended. highly...
We had a really lovely stay at the InterContinental Cascais. I am 5 months pregnant, and what stood out most was how considerate, warm, and proactively helpful everyone was throughout our stay. The staff made us feel genuinely cared for, which meant a lot.
Our ocean view room was amazing and made the whole experience feel extra special. The food throughout our stay was outstanding, and the breakfast in particular was exceptional. Everything was so good that it honestly spoiled us for the rest of our holiday, because nothing else could match the taste, quality, and service we experienced here.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay and one we will remember very fondly.
We will definitely go back at some point just to stay here again. I genuinely hope the same wonderful level of service continues, because it made such a big difference to our experience.
Todo o espaço e a simpatia dos trabalhadores.
