This hotel is completely overpriced. No hot water, the arrounding durty, the foot ordinary without option to go to an other place to eat, oldy rooms. 90 US should be OK, but definitely not 160

Super séjour au calme sur le Rio Dulce !!
Pros:

Super hôtel arboré avec des colibris au bord du Rio Dulce, personnel très aimable et très arrangeant ! Grande chambre dans bungalow individuel sur pilotis avec salle de bain et climatisation, et balcon filant meublé pour s’observer les bateaux passer sur la rivière. Bon et copieux petit déjeuner, restaurant sur place et bar au bord de la piscine ! L’hôtel vous offre un trajet aller et un retour en bateau depuis la ville de Rio Dulce.

The property is beautiful! We had a private bungalow on the water with private sailboats docked out front. The grounds are expansive and relaxing to explore.

Right on the water
Pros:

Hotel Catamaran is a beautiful place to stay on Rio Dulce. Small but comfy bungaloes right on the water. Biggest downside is that there isn't any wifi in the rooms, and the shower is a little on the small side. But the view waking up in the morning is just perfect. We also arrived later than expected and they kept the restaurant open for us in case we needed dinner. Great service!!

El Catamaran es un hotel muy bien ubicado en Rio Dulce. Las facilidades, incluyendo el área de la piscina, cumplieron con las expectativas de toda la familia. El menu del restaurante tiene variadas opciones para escoger y el personal en general, fue muy servicial con nosotros.

Mala comida y cobros escondidos
Pros:

La comida no es buena y como no tienes otro lugar a donde ir te causa muchas molestias por lo demás bien además de que en la reservación en el precio no incluyen los impuestos y cuando pagas sube la tarifa casi $100.00 dolares o Q.700.00 para los guatemaltecos

Pros:

Very quiet and great setting on an island in the lake. Infrastructure is 40 years old or so. Not great on comfort but if you look for a relaxing afmosphere it is great.
Fro. The parjinv lot a 15 min boat ride offered by tbe hotel gets you to the island.
Setting is great.
