Highly recommend staying at Silverwood Inn if you need accommodations in the area.
Pros:

Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Staff was outstanding, friendly and always quite with a joke. Thank-you Randy & Janice.

Great location for Bay Roberts, Brigus, Cupids, etc.!
Pros:

Randy was Great!
He heard why I was in town and immediately went through the library to find me a souvenir of Capt. Bob Bartlett and the Morrissey and gave it to me. He was so kind!

Cons:

If I had a chance to stay more than 3 nights!

Friendly host, central location.
Pros:

The host was very friendly and the location fit our travel plans just right. We did not eat at the restaurant because it was not open.

Cons:

The place needs some updating especially in the bathrooms. The bed was old but ok. Seems like there were some upgrades done, just need more :)

Friendly and kind owner. Overall atmosphere was warm, old-fashioned and nice. Other guests seemed friendly, too. The room was spacious and comfortable. Complimentary coffee and they gave us light breakfast, too. We enjoyed the stay.

The host are wonderful, the room was perfect and the beds were comfortable. They also have a wonderful restaurant and serve great meals for lunch and dinner.

Pros:

This hotel is so old and is in desperate need of a gut job! The beds are old, furniture is old. It seems it is meant as a hunting lodge for a bunch of hunters to stay in. One good thing is that the coffee pot is always on if that’s your thing. Way too expensive for what you get. We were just too tired to go look for something else, we actually didn’t see any other lodging in the area. Don’t waste your money here!

Comfortable and quiet.
Pros:

Easy to find, wonderful staff, quiet. Comfortable beds, lots of parking.

Cons:

Restaurant not open on Mondays and Tuesdays. No in- room coffee. No ice bucket or large ice machine. No snack shop.
