Fantastic stay for family travelling with two teenage kids! Highly recommend.
Pros:

We had such a lovely relaxing stay at Mala Garden. We treated ourselves to the Villa with private pool and we are so happy that we did! The Villa & Pool were fantastic! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the beach everyday was great! We rented bikes and cycled the island. Highly recommend for families travelling with teenagers.

More constant hot water in the shower.

Amazing! Highly recommend!
Pros:

The villas were roomy and comfortable. Al of the staff were beyond friendly. Included breakfast was quite substantial.

Cons:

It’s about a 15 minute bike ride from the bustling port area & bikes were in need of an upgrade.

A noi è piaciuto davvero tantissimo! Il resort si trova sulla costa ovest, più tranquilla, ha una spiaggia molto bella, il pomeriggio la marea si ritira e bisogna spostarsi altrove per fare il bagno ma l'isola è piccola e si raggiunge tutto in poco tempo. Tramonti meravigliosi! Belle piscine, bella camera grande e pulita. Ma ciò che fa veramente la differenza è lo staff. Tutti gentilissimi, sorridenti, dolcissimi e professionali. Un grande grazie di cuore a tutti, avete reso il nostro soggiorno davvero speciale!

Pros:

Em frente à melhor praia da ilha. Pequeno-almoço muito bom e feito na hora. Quarto espaçoso e confortável. Funcionários muito simpáticos e solícitos.

Cons:

Pouca iluminação nas escadas de acesso aos quartos. A música, na praia, podia estar um pouco mais baixa.

Fijn verblijf met heel veel lief personeel!
Pros:

We hebben echt een hele fijne tijd gehad hier met twee gezinnen.
Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
De kamers zijn netjes en schoon.

Cons:

Het ontbijt is wat eenzijdig, maar de omgeving lekker met de voetjes in het zand maakt weer veel goed!

Wij vonden Trawangan wel erg druk geworden, ook bij het resort staat de hele dag harde muziek aan terwijl er niemand is.

Lovely experience but few things could be fixed to make it perfect

Staff were lovely and it was in a good location.

Cons:

Internet kept dropping out on one side of the room, also a few things could be done to improve the place. A phone in the room or a what’s app number to order food and drink without having to leave the room would be ideal so you don’t have to go to the bar or reception. Also a safe in the rooms would be great. As my door didn’t lock properly (could be opened when locked with a goo tug) somewhere to put my passport and extra money for peace of mind would have been great.

Amazing family holiday
Pros:

The moment we got to the resort, we were greeted by the lovely team of Angun, Danny and the team. They were warm, helpful and so welcoming. Always carries a smile and happy to help. The got the villa with a pool and 2 bedrooms with en-suite. The pool was huge, spacious living room and dining space. The rooms were very spacious as well and the bathrooms were also spacious and open aired. The grounds were lovely although some work is still being done at the back of the resort but it is not affecting us a as guests. It is right in front of the beach, clean and clear water, a quiet side of the busy GiliT but still has what you need from restaurants to minimart just next door, atm, frozen yoghurt, shops and a night open aired cinema a few steps away. Breakfast is lovely and sitting facing the beach is not only calming and lovely, but we were greeted but turtles. We went for a snorkel and saw 4 turtles. The team also assisted in renting electric scooters to go around, although you could also go on horse carts or bicycles. Such a lovely resort and we would recommend it for families or of any group traveling to GiliT. We will visit GiliT again and would come back. Thank you Mala Garden Resort and Spa!

Pros:

The room, facility and hospitality was super great! Danny was the best host ever, gave us lots of good advice about the island and always had a smile on his face. Honestly couldn’t ask for anymore from the place. Made our time on Gilli T a 10/10 experience
