The perfect stay on Gili Air!
Pros:

I absolutely LOVED my stay here. The rooms were clean and beautiful, the staff were amazing. It was great value for money, PLUS you get to use the day beds at the Scallywags beach club. Must stay!

Für uns als Familie geeignet
Pros:

Wir haben uns als Familie sehr wohlgefühlt und würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen. Das Zimmer war für uns mit Kind völlig ausreichend. Es gibt zwar nur wenige Steckdosen zum Laden, was uns persönlich aber nicht weiter gestört hat. Das Badezimmer war sauber und in Ordnung. Die Ausstattung ist teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber für uns zählt vor allem, dass alles sauber ist und funktioniert – und das war hier der Fall.

Ein absolutes Highlight war der Pool im Schatten, der gerade mit unserem fünfjährigen Kind ideal war. Auch die kostenlose Nutzung der schattigen Strandliegen fanden wir großartig.

Das Frühstück wird im Restaurant am Meer serviert. Man sollte wissen, dass man dafür ein kleines Stück laufen muss. Für uns war das allerdings überhaupt kein Nachteil, sondern ein echtes Plus! Das Frühstück war hervorragend und die Auswahl außergewöhnlich groß – so etwas findet man wirklich selten.

Auch die Lage ist super. Wir hatten einen Roller und waren dadurch schnell überall, aber das Restaurant und der Strand sind auch zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Für Kinder gibt es außerdem eine Spielecke.

Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft für Familien, bei der für uns einfach alles gepasst hat. Besonders der schattige Pool, das fantastische Frühstück und die kostenlosen Strandliegen haben unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und können Scallywags Mango absolut weiterempfehlen!

Great
Pros:

It was in an amazing location with everything close by. The room was so nice (especially the comfy bed). We even had a cat join us! It just popped up in our room, we have no clue how. It didn’t belong to the owners/ retreat. We also got sooo many towels which is so unusual but great.

Cons:

The shower was a little tiny but nothing to worry about

Good enough to stay a few nights, but not the top
Pros:

The staff was really friendly and kind to us. The pool is great and the room looks nice

Cons:

You can clearly see that Scallywags mango is not their top priority. The airco in our room smelt musty, so when you come in for the first time, you are not welcomed with a fresh looming and smelling room. The plastic cups were dirty and the (free❤️) drinking water tasted also not fresh, I guess they haven’t cleaned the dispenser in a while

Pros:

L’emplacement est ok car proche du port et dans la grande rue principale

Cons:

La propreté laisse vraiment à désirer.. il y a une odeur d’humidité persistante. Tout semble sale. La salle de bain n’était pas du tout nettoyé à notre arrivé. On est resté une seule nuit et heureusement car une nuit de plus pas possible.

Cons:

Condizioni igieniche davvero pessime.
Al nostro arrivo abbiamo dovuto immediatamente segnalarlo, non essendo solitamente persone schizzinose, ma il livello di sporco era davvero eccessivo. Il personale è intervenuto subito per effettuare una pulizia ma nonostante l’intervento la stanza è rimasta comunque sporca e al di sotto degli standard di igiene che ci si aspetterebbe (palesemente puliscono solo certe cose, ma il resto no e anche da diverso tempo)
La doccia esterna faceva pochissima acqua (comunque calda)

Comfortable room in a great location on Gili Air! Only a few minutes walk to the harbour or to the beach. The staff was very friendly too. Special thanks to Teguh, who helped us out when our flight got delayed. We really appreciated your assistance!

Pros:

Es gab einen großen Wasserkanister pro Zimmer. Dazu gab es am Restaurant kostenlose Daybeds.

Cons:

Beim auschecken haben wir uns erkundigt, ob wir die Koffer dort noch lassen können. Es kam keine Reaktion, obwohl die Sachen gelesen wurde. Etwas schade.
