New Forest Golf Club Apartments

I have never been to an accommodation that was so filthy in my life. The carpet was stained and smelled, the furniture smelled like feces and had grime and animal hair in the crevices. There were dead, and alive spiders and bugs in every room.

Very good, But oven gloves and colander would’ve been nice in kitchen everything else was great

Clean, modern apartment. Lots of bathrooms/ensuites.

Better people you could not find. Stay was lovely. Perfect for a family stay spare bedroom which gives added privacy. Fresh country air and a good location. Views over well kept grounds.

Lovely stay definitely will be returning. Such pleasant staff very welcoming. Well equipped self catering. Service in the restaurant was quick and efficient. Food was great. If you like golf you won't be disappointed with the surroundings. Very suitable for those who like a central base.

The lodge was very comfortable and in a lovely setting. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for maintenance so we didn't get to experience the food on offer. My only, very minor complaint was the lack of a bedside lamp in the 2nd bedroom. Also, all the speed humps along the driveway into the property were a bit on the big side! None of these things would put me off booking again.

The accommodation is excellent. We were missing a light in the bathroom and had a broken light bulb beside the bed . Little things that can be ironed out. The dinning room however was a terrible experience, we were given a pint of beer that was definitely not great, but we were also given a glass for sparkling water that smelt of beer so I think this was a dishwasher issue. The dinner however was awful, the worst I have ever been served, one slice of grey, hard roast beef and 2 dry peeled boiled potatoes, the veg here was Ok. Surf and turf, Prawns smelled off, the mash was slightly sour and the steak burnt on the outside and freezing and definitely raw not rare on the inside. Both dinners freezing cold. And a bill of 49 euro for 2 inedible meals . We were very disappointed and barely received an apology. Just the bill. And a drive somewhere else to get something to eat. Would I stay here again yes , would I eat here again definitely not.

The apartment was very comfortable. The outside area and courtyard were very peaceful and relaxing. Well definitely come back again.

Lovely location. A lovely spacious house on the grounds. We got a great welcome. Good attempt at compliance with Covid guidelines. I suggest management wear visors when talking to guests. Serving staff wore visors but management spent more time talking to guests to help them out but did not wear a visor.

Apartments were clean and very big, plenty of room.

We are a family of four and stayed here for a night while traveling through the area. We are not golfers but our two adult children were with us so we needed something that would give everyone their space. We stayed in lodge #5. It had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It also had a large living room area and very large kitchen area. The grounds are very beautiful as well! Very quiet and peaceful. Only took us about an hour to get into Dublin the next day to catch our flight home.
