I really enjoy staying at Rixos hotels, so I have a good basis for comparison. This one in Shymkent is among the most beautifully decorated, in the best sense of the word. What truly stands out, however, is the breakfast—especially the bakery section. Everything is homemade and absolutely delicious.

No kettle no iron in the room. Had call 5 times to ask to bring it. Doesn’t worths the money
Absolutely terrible hotel.
The room cost 89,000 KZT per night, yet the service and overall condition of the hotel were nowhere near worth the price.
We stayed for one night (June 19–20, 2026). From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the hotel had serious organizational issues. There was no concierge, and only one receptionist on duty. While we were checking in, another guest was visibly upset and complaining that he had been waiting for over an hour to have his issue resolved.
The room lacked basic amenities such as an iron, kettle, and hair dryer. We had to make several phone calls just to have these essential items delivered.
The rooms themselves are very worn out and in desperate need of renovation. The entire property feels outdated and poorly maintained.
I am genuinely disappointed that I chose this hotel. For this price, one would expect a much higher level of service, comfort, and attention to detail.
This was my definitely my last stay here.
At best, I would rate this hotel 1 star — and even that is being generous.

Понравилось абсолютно всё: чистый и уютный номер, белоснежное постельное бельё, комфортная атмосфера и внимательный персонал. Отдельное спасибо за приятный комплимент от отеля — это было очень неожиданно и приятно. 🫶

Нам понравилось шикарность отеля, безлимитный завтрак, чистота, уют, чистота, раскошность, персонал очень дружелюбный, каждый раз когда мы заходим в своц номер Нас ждет чистота уборки, шоколодки для Нас , мой сын его обожал благодарю Вас за хороший классный отель.
Нам все понравилось я остановилась с сыном 10 лет и с мамой 70 лет мне 42 лет и у всех Нас хорошее впечатление

Завтраки хорошие.
Невозможно нигде зарядить телефон. Можно хотя бы Jet поставить в лобби. Нас выручал только один человек, девушка администратор в лобби. Остальным было жалко зарядку.
