Located in some stunning views, the staff were really helpful and friendly.Room was clean and well appointed. There were a few minor issues which i pointed out to staff , but nothing the stopped us enjoying the stay. The food is excellent too
Typical old hotel with good bar and food with limited amenities.
Friendly helpful staff.
You can't help being impressed by the effort put in by the hosts to make this hotel work. It isn't perfect but thoroughly enjoyable and the location makes this a winner.
Lovely room and very peaceful location. The staff were very helpful.
Nice room with clean comfortable bed. Good choice for breakfast. Nice evening meal purchased in bar area.
Very nice hotel, food was excellent, staff are friendly. Nice quiet area.
Excellent stay, we were made to feel very welcome. The owners went above and beyond to make sure the place was spotless. The food was fresh from local suppliers and was perfect, my scallops were caught fresh that morning. There is a lovely garden which we sat and had some drinks in. Couldn't fault one thing, our favourite stay from our trip round the north coast of Scotland.
Very nice place although we had trouble with internet.
Last minute trip and picked this lovely hotel with a great atmosphere. Lovely staff and guests alike. Ideal for an overnight stay for a tour around the area. Very accommodating and great food.
The owners were very nice people. The food was very good at both dinner and breakfast. Room very comfy!
Nice friendly staff and good food
Everything about the place was excellent. Better than expected.
We had problems with staff, poor customer service
Over priced hotel. Room was very small (room 4). Tiny bathroom, close to breakfast room. Strange sort of porch area with a door direct to the car park, though this was handy for unpacking. Nice towels. Carex was the provided soap in the en suite, bit downmarket, as was no orange juice at breakfast. Burgers were excellent bot when asked for mayonnaise the waitress literally plonked a squeeze bottle of Hellmann on the table.
Good real ales. Staff pleasant enough. Breakfast ok.
Good breakfast. Great little sunroom. Comfortable bed. Staff helpful. Highly recommended.
Great place and fabulous hosts. They went out of their way to accommodate us and friends for a wonderful dinner. This was a shared bathroom, which is not my preference, but it was spotless and we had no problems. I would definitely recommend this hotel, but book early!
Friendly and helpful staff. No TV in room. Good location,
A very pleasant stay owners were very welcoming and the home cooked food was delicious . Good location for 500 tour . A couple of walks to take in nearby forest area and up onto hills .
The room was cold and the bathroom smelt damp and the shower was very small. The food was very small portions for the price. Had to have crisps and biscuits when went back to the room.
We had been up hill walking in the Munros around Torridon and booked the hotel as a place to have a nice meal and bed for the night.
On arriving it was a cosy and welcoming place with a comfortable seating area by the entrance. The room was nice enough although it didn’t have a TV which was a little missed. We had booked a shared bathroom room which seemed a little archaic of us at first but their was no issue and a big clean bath helped ease our tired muscles.
We had dinner in the bar and although the menu looked good, when our food arrived the chips were oven cooked. I never thought it would have bothered me but if I go to a hotel I expect proper chips. Another thing was that being a hotel in the highlands, after a big day on the hill, not having a fire on in the bar was a bit of a downer.
After a good nights sleep we had a hearty cooked breakfast and headed off. Overall a good experience but with a few things that could be done better.
