Check in staff member was u friendly and disinterested. Unfortunate considering she is in the service industry.. also the cleaning staff left dirty cleaning cloths on our bed after room was made up .
Noise
Close to Perth train station. Big room.

There was no minibar in the room for medication or water, but at least the front desk kept my medication and ice

No gym and minimalist furnishings in the room (no desk).
The vibe in the mezzanine and lobby. Beautifully decorated. I could sit comfortably for hours admiring the decor. My room was mostly very quiet, which allowed for a peaceful stay.
Hotel guests must refrain from placing their feet on chairs and side tables. Their shoes have come into contact with unwanted micro-organisms. Other guests then sit on the chairs and eat from side tables. It's unhygienic. I noticed this in both the mezzanine and lobby a few times during my 5 day stay. Please place signs where guests can read them. Staff must be prepared to ask guests to take their feet off side tables.
Excellent location
It was Saturday night and very noisy out on the street.
Boutique hotel with only 74 rooms located in a good location & easily accessible from the Perth station. Very basic amenities in the room & bathroom.
Restaurant food & wine was good & exceptional! Had two dinners in house but the restaurant is not located within the premises but round the corner from the hotel proper.
The building is not outstanding or noticeable unless you are very familiar with the area. With the help of a local resident the hotel was located ease!
Breakfast was an upgraded version of Continental breakfast - no hot meals?? This need to explained at time of booking & specified. When breakfast is stated at time of booking it should be specified that it’s not American breakfast!
Also, being a small boutique hotel there’s a good patronage of local OZ business people using their facilities. Was surprised & alarmed that a note was placed on my table to vacate by 0900am whilst I was tucking into the simple Breakfast that was offered??!! Shocked.
Location, views, vibe
Room was more minimal than a typical hotel room (no fridge, chair, desk) but the shared spaces made up for that

Split beds stopped the bathroom door from been able to be closed.

Toilet leaked, noisy location, small basin in bathroom. A bit too small and on the minimalistic side, no cupboards for clothes.
