Very close to Perth city centre and activities and free tea and coffee any time of day.
Alex hotel took multiple charges against my card and it took time to sort out whilst in Australia on my travels. Eventually sorted out and they apologised.
Very friendly and helpful staff who helped reunite my husband with his tablet which he left behind, great location and nicely styled hotel, but...
We were not informed before checking in that there was a wedding going on in the evening using all communal facilities, including the roof terrace. We were allocated a room directly below the roof terrace adjoining the function room where there was a disco and dancing on the paved surface of the terrace, all of which might as well have been taking place in our room.
The rooms have no tea/coffee making facility, this along with provision of drinking water all being in the communal lounge on the first floor....which was full of wedding guests, so unusable by us. In the evening, the one lift was dominated by wedding guests moving between the first floor and roof terrace.
Had we been allocated a room on a lower floor away from the terrace it would not have impacted quite as badly on our one night stay, but feel we should have been advised we were effectively staying in a wedding venue as unwanted and excluded guests
One of my favs I’m Perth city close to everything and very comfortable bed
Communal kitchenette and 'living and dining room' for guests separate from the room and the lobby, gave it a cozy, warm feeling. Nice use of space. Appreciated effort to not use plastic and for guests to take a nice glass bottle of fresh water to their rooms instead.
