OYO Hotel Tallahassee Downtown

Das Zimmer war in einem miserablen Zustand. Es war so dreckig, das war ekelhaft. Auf keinen Fall hier buchen, wenn einem Sauberkeit auch nur annähernd wichtig ist!
Alles war fleckig und schmutzig. Auf meinem Bettlaken war sogar ein trockener Fleck. Also nicht Mal nur ein Fleck der sich nicht mehr rauswaschen lässt, sondern er war wirklich von der Oberflächenbeschaffenheit total trocken. Wer weiß also wie lange das Bettlaken nicht mehr gewaschen wurde und wie viele Leute da schon drinnen geschlafen haben!
Diese Unterkunft ist selbst für eine Nacht zu schlimm!
Was wir dort erlebt haben ist wirklich nicht zumutbar!
Noch nie habe ich so eine schlechte Erfahrung mit einer Unterkunft gemacht! Man fragt sich wirklich, ob es da überhaupt Reinigungspersonal gibt. Sogar auf der Zimmerkarte ekliger Fleck.

Staff unhelpful

A terribly poor, worn-out motel. Not very clean. Worn furniture, scraped walls. No amenities that were described in Booking.

Staff was helpful at check in however it was scary when he said: "We only have two rooms left, want to check out the room?", I mean I booked a while ago you don't need to share these details with me or was it more like "I only have bad rooms for you so you may want to check out whatever left I have". I mean it's 10pm, what else do you want me to do on a Spring Break weekend if the room is bad?

I stayed in room 106.

The room was old, everything was old and half broken. Maintenance was bare, you can tell, things work but it desperately needs a complete redo. The floor was sticky, probably because the cleaning staff doesn't wash the mop often. The headboard had dust on it, I'm guessing weeks if not months without being cleaned up. Beds smelled clean but the sheets had holes. Some plugs didn't work. The blackout curtains aren't blacking out much, sure I'm not too picky but the outdoor light was intensively flickering it was very disturbing, like you're on a nightclub. Pets are apparently allowed and the upstairs guest had one and because the floors are all hardwood floor we could hear the claws walking all night.

Checkout wasn't great either, we wanted to check out at 6:15am, nobody in the lobby, the ring bell wasn't working, I waited 10min and just dropped the key because I wasn't going to spend hours waiting for someone to show up.

I do not recommend this hotel unless it is an absolute necessity and you have found nothing else. Today for some reason I looked at prices and they were over 150$, trust me you don't want to stay there for that price. Anything above 50-60$ is overpriced.

It is a total shithole. It shouldn't be allowed to list on booking.com. Only suitable for prostitutes and drug dealers. Totally unhygienic,.no hot water, walls not even painted, looked like it hasn't been updated in the last 59 years.

They sold my room and did not have my reservation when I got there. Even though it said confirmed on the booking app. Parking lot had huge holes. Really sketchy.

The hotel was listed as Oyo, the bill stated Budgethotel. What’s up with that! The room was not clean. The bathroom door looked like something used their fist to punch it. After brushing my teeth the water never drained it stayed in the sink. Before leaving I did inform the desk person of the room’s conditions. He said he would let management know. I am outraged that I was charged $165.00 for a room not worth $10.00. How dare they charge that rate. After driving 5 plus hours there were no other options for a place to stay in the area. Not sure if Travago vets the places they recommend. You need to.

Extremely nasty. Mold and mildew covered the outside and inside of the fridge (that did not work). No hot water. Definitely in need of an upgrade and deep cleaning.

Everything

Everything. Service was poor, room was gross, no functioning wifi, no iron, no coffee, no tissues. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything & everyone. The worst hotel ever.
