Cleanliness
4.8
Multiple reviews report smoke smell after a recent fire, damp and raveled carpets, pool/hot tub green with debris and belongings smelling like smoke; one positive note of a 'nice clean room' but overall cleanliness is notably poor.
Service
7.2
Service is mixed: several guests praised kind or amazing staff, but there are multiple reports of front desk absenteeism, forgotten ID, poor customer-service behavior (staff on phone), and a manager refusing compensation after a fire incident.
Location
10
Consistently praised across reviews: close to event venues and convention center with easy access to restaurants and stores — location is a clear strong point.
Room Quality
6.9
Mixed room quality: some guests reported comfy beds and clean rooms, while others noted damp carpet, outdated/rundown appearance, problematic shower temperature control, and poor ironing board/pad.
Amenities
5.7
Amenities underperform: pool and hot tub out of service and dirty, large noisy ozone fans in halls, limited/too-small parking, and issues with in-room ironing/shower temperature suggest amenities need upgrades.
Value for Money
7.9
Several guests called it good value or appreciated the price/location; others felt disappointed given the fire-related issues. Overall perceived as reasonably good value for bargain-seeking travelers, albeit inconsistent.
Food and Beverage
6.4
Breakfast received mixed-to-negative feedback: reports of burnt eggs, sparse options, empty waffle dispenser, no cream cheese, coffee/juice running out or machine turned off — a few guests did note a 'nice hot breakfast' on other stays.
Overall Experience
7.9
Overall impressions are mixed: some guests had 'amazing' stays with quiet, comfortable rooms and great staff, while others were very disappointed due to fire-related smoke, cleanliness and service lapses. Net sentiment leans slightly positive when weighted across all reviews.

Pros:

The big TV, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean.

Cons:

The Wi-Fi didn’t work and there wasn’t an ice machine on the floor I was on. The rate was too high.

Awful. I will never stay at a Sleep Inn again. The manager would not give me any compensation.
Pros:

Nothing. There was a fire at the hotel 2weeks ago and I was never notified. The hallway was hot and big air filters running in the hallway

Cons:

The front desk person was not at the front desk when I checked in and another time I went down. Had to wait 10 minutes before someone came. She forgot to give me my drivers license back and when I went back it laying on the desk. Anyone could have come by and picked it up. I had to take a cold shower. Someone had to fix the toilet. The carpet was raveling in the elevator

Disappointing……
Pros:

The staff was kind. But is just about the only thing I can say that is positive.

Cons:

This property has had a fire. We arrived at night so we couldn’t see the damage. Not until after we had checked in did we understand the damage or even tell. We tried to be kind and understanding cause we were tired and had things first thing in the morning we had to get to.
Just a few things to mention.
The front desk area is the only place that doesn’t smell like smoke.
The halls have huge ozone fans running 24/7 that are loud and are blowing hot air.
It seems as though the only air conditioning is in the rooms, So in the breakfast area it was very hot.
When we left our first morning we both noticed our hair smelled like smoke.
The carpet in our room was damp so much so we ended up moving our things to hard surfaces.
The pool and hot tub are not working and green with debris from the fire in them.
When we left our belongings and bags smelled like smoke.
The “hot” breakfast was sad we went down the first morning. The eggs were burnt, the bacon was so thin and over cooked it literally fell apart and crumbled when we tried to pick it up. The waffle batter dispenser was empty so only got 3/4 of the amount you should get. There was no cream cheese for the bagels. There were very little choices and only high sugar prepackaged options other than bagel eggs and bacon. The coffee ran out and there was no one around to help or get more of anything. We came down at 8:30 right in the middle of breakfast service 7-10

I am angry and frustrated that I wasn’t notified by the property ahead of time so that I could make different arrangements. We were there for a sporting event and my kid had a headache from the smoke smell and slept terribly. we are the kind of family that was looking for bargain so wasn’t expecting 5 stars but definitely not what we got. but couldn’t afford to just eat the money and go somewhere else. Wish I had! We did everything we could to stay away as much as we could and didn’t eat breakfast there our second morning. Very very disappointed.

Upgrade/ Customer Service
Pros:

It was quiet.

Cons:

It wasn't enough towels and they nee a serious upgrade. The ironing board pad was awful. The showers too hot and I couldn't control temperature. They really need new carpet. Breakfast was good but the juice machine turned off at 8:50am and water only came out and the staff just sit there with her phone on speaker talking the whole time. Staff need to be trained on customer service skills

Spacious and quiet.
Pros:

Clean room, quiet environment, and spacious.

Cons:

The bathtub had a stain but that's all that is; it's a stain that can't be removed, it just was an eye sore. Bathroom was clean otherwise.
