Nature Trails Boutique Hotel

Our first stop in sri lanka. Lovely hotel, clean rooms with excellent aircon, beautiful garden and pool, friendly staff, great location a few minutes tuktuk ride to the beach and restaurants of unawatuna, and a 10 minute ride to galle. make sure to head to frog rock to see the turtles!

The staff team is fantastic! Everyone went out of there way to make sure we were looked after. The hotel is beautiful.

We were happy with our family room which was roomy and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and responsive to any requests, particularly Dulari, Pushpika and Vimukthi. The rooms had a good view of the pool and surrounding nature. Our only reservation was that it’s a bit far away from the beach and restaurant area.

Location & friendly staffs and owners .

I'm sure this is one of the best hotels in Unawatuna. Service at the highest level. The staff is very friendly and truly customer oriented. At the reception we were greeted with refreshing cocktails. We checked into the room ahead of time, not at 14.00, but at 11.00. Since this is our first time in this country, we turned to the staff for help in various situations and with quite specific requests. I can say with confidence that the staff in the complex will make the best impression on you - with their attitude, tact, attention to guests, the cleanliness of the hotel in general and the room in particular, and the cleaning of the area. Linen was changed every two days, and we regularly refused to do cleaning.
We booked for two weeks and initially did not plan to rent a scooter or car. We traveled by tuk-tuk. Once you get used to the prices, local trips average less than $8 per day. Supermarkets and local food are within walking distance. The main tourist area is about 7 minutes on foot.
The pool is excellent, the water is wonderful, no chemicals, it is cleaned regularly. We swam periodically in the morning or late in the evening. There are no mosquitoes at all. Several times we saw a couple of peacocks, a monitor lizard, a bunch of chipmunks, a couple of species of monkeys, flying foxes and strange birds on the territory. At the time of our stay, most of the rooms were empty, so we had full harmony, silence and comfort.
In the room: tea station, towels, shower set, water, hairdryer, safe - everything is there. Wifi is excellent, it didn’t let me down.
There is a restaurant on the 1st floor, the food is quick and tasty, they always adjust the spiciness of the dishes.
I liked the hotel very much, I recommend it.

People
The owner Lee & all of the staff (Pushpika & Sludara) made us feel so welcome and did everything to make Sue our stay was comfortable.

Location
Although a little away from the beach, this was an advantage. Quiet, with a beautiful view of the jungle. We saw a mongoose, palm squirrels, langar monkeys, a peacock and many other special birds.

The way that the place is set back from the road and the construction meant it was very peaceful.

Room
A really lovely, well appointed room with fridge, aircon, safe, comfortable beds, wi-fi, lots of power points, clean and modern bathroom. Looking out onto the lovely pool and jungle.

Pool
Well maintained. A good size and we were always able to get a sun lounge. Lovely temperature and cleaned regularly.

Restaurant
Although we only had breakfast here during our stay, we coincidentally had a lunch here during a recent tour. Both were excellent. Well cooked, good serving sizes and lovely tasting.

Location and staff and swimming pool/garden

We liked everything about this hotel! Everything was great! The rooms are clean and beautiful with amazing view to the pool! The staff were so kind to us. Best hotel in sri lanka we will definitely come back 😁
