The photis on the listing are misleading.
They charged me despite they said that the amount will be charged at the hotel. I couldn’t have my money back.
Worst hotel
I have to share my experience at this hotel so people can seriously avoid it at all costs. I did the mistake of not reading reviews properly or taking them seriously but when I tell you they weren’t joking about the BED BUGS!! It was horrifying and absolutely uncomfortable and disgusting. My girlfriend and I stayed for 4 nights and by the end of our stay I was covered in bites from head to toe (literally) I had them all over my face, arms, legs, back and head. The room is really run down and in a terrible neighborhood that makes you feel unsafe. Homeless everywhere!! Remote for tv was missing, ceiling fan was just a prop, sheets and blanket were very dirty and had hair and bloodstains from the bugs. Elevator was unstable and had to use the stairs for the rest of the trip (stayed on the 4th floor) the only saving qualities was the nice staff. Overall it’s not worth saving your money, you will want to leave this place immediately.
The stay was comfortable and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
Very dirty. Shower curtain & floor had visible blood stains. The floor in general was very dirty, had to wear shower shoes the entire stay. The tv did not have a remote and did not even turn on by manually pressing the power button. The elevator was unique & interesting, but pretty scary. The location is also not in a good area. Walking up Jones St. at any hour you will encounter MANY homeless. They even have part of Jones st blocked for homeless to set up tents, kinda like outdoor dining areas. Do not recommend for anyone with small kids.
There were homeless people camping outside the building and along the sidewalks. It was very scary. There were bed bugs, the walls were dirty, and the white sheets were stained with something. Gave the clerk our information and than he kind of ignored us because he was making a phone call. The customer services was awful too. Worse place ever and the neighborhood is dangerous at night.
I did not expect much from staying in the economy hotel, bit frankly it was the worst experience I've ever had. Bed bugs was the worst problem, I couldn't sleep, and I got bites on my face and hands! Also, the heating was not turned on half of the nights, even though it was close to freezing outside. I could also hear any noises from the street, I guess because the windows couldn't lock well.
Can't beat the price.
Very rough Tenderloin area. Room had bedbugs and we got bit extensively.
If you're able to successfully make it past the difficult double doors that lead to the elevator to finally reach your room, you will wish you hadn't. The bizarre room set-up aside, there is no temperature control for the room so pray the weather is cool. the window is stuck open and the cord to adjust the blinds had been removed. Thankfully, I had my own bathroom... but it's the kind of place you want to keep your shoes on to shower in. After my first night I desperately wanted to check out and stay anywhere else, but they make you pay in full in advance.
Stayed for 2 nights. First the elevator we had to open ourselves and there were 2 doors, one to the elevator and the elevator itself. Then the room had no air conditioning. So we opened the window but there was no screen. The showers did not look clean. The toilet was okay. We were on the second floor and there were 2 toilets and 2 showers for the entire floor each in separate rooms. We at least had our own sink. The towels we used did not look clean. They were white towels but they looked faded. We were hesitant to sleep under the covers for the possibility of bed bugs. We looked under the sheets but didn’t find any. We never looked in between the bed though. But no bed bugs so far.
If you want extra guests in your room this is the place for you and when i say guest i mean bed bugs !! This is definitely a place i do not recommend ever ! The location is loud and dirty but i guess you get what you pay for. Inside the hotel the rooms are decent but don't let that fool you ! Only certain rooms have the mini fridges, ours did not have one which i was surprised since it was a very spacious room. Even though our room was very spacious however it wasn't the best , the bathrooms were shared bathrooms which weren't cleaned all the time. The Tv was kind of old fashioned and barely worked all the channels were fuzzy. Upon discovering the bed bugs we got the staff to come up stairs and look which he even seen ! We asked for a refund however all they could offer was another room -___- why would i want another room????? that room probably has them to !!! In the end I never got my money back and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVER !!! I was trying to upload a picture but its not letting me so im assuming its blocked so they dont get exposed
Worst place ever I would never recommend anyone to go there and stay
The room was very clean and the staff was really friendly. Tenderloin is a rough and loud
Tv no picture, room smelled. Hair on MY PILLOWS, chain on door broken, no phone in room, shheets dirty. I stayed for 3 hours, then checked out. I was not offered a refund
Location is great but be cautious on a lot of homeless people hanging on street.
This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. After one night, I woke up with 47 bed bug bites on my face and saw the bugs on the sheets. When I went downstairs to check out, the man at the desk was clueless. He called the owner and they talked for 20 minutes. Finally the man said that the owner would process a refund for the entire stay later that day. It's been a month and I still haven't gotten my money back. I had to book a last minute hotel, spend hundred on a new suitcase and cleaning the clothes I had with me, and hundreds more on medical expenses for the bites and hives I had covering my body. To get that many bed bug bites there had to be an infestation for months that they did nothing about. Nobody should EVER stay at this hotel. Even for a cheap hotel this was beyond disappointing and unacceptable.
The place was dirty and old, outside of the property there’s a lot of homeless
