Pros:

The reason I gave 3 stars, we arrived 1 1/2 hours before 3 pm check in. The room was not ready as they need to clean the room and we understand this. We booked two Junior Suite rooms. The front desk lady check us in without the room keys and took our mobile number to call us when the rooms is ready. We went for lunch, waited at the lobby still no call until we asked if the room is ready. the front desk forgot to call us though the rooms is ready. My room is cleaned, spacious but the telephone is not workings and connected to the wall! We want to book Encore show for 5.30 pm but we cant call the Front desk and I call the main line which I spent 45 minutes only answering machine. Its really disappointing because the hotel is good, the location is great but because the service its give bad rating to the hotel. As for breakfast buffet, i when down at 9.15 am, i can see the head chef checking the buffet breakfast but i am not sure what is the purpose of him there? He can see the roti canai bowl is empty which i have to ask him about it and it took 30 minutes to get a refill and Mr Hakimi was nice to check on the refills and sent some to my table! the fish ball and the fish cake for the noodles soup area is empty, no bowls for the soup until me and other guests call for it. No bowls for yogurt. The head chef job is to make sure the food is refills and the bowls and the dishes is there. Need to improve on guest service. I would stay here again and hope to see improvements.

Pros:

Terrible bed, not soundproof room noise could be heard whenever someone’s outside the hallway. Bed was soft and sinked when sleeping causing back pain. Spacious room with only 2 single beds and had many pieces of furniture that wasn’t useful. TV was small and far from the bed with horrible sound quality. Bathroom had little toiletries and was incredibly noisy from the pipes. Would not recommend this hotel for a comfortable long stay. Surroundings are too noisy to enjoy a good nights rest.

Don't be fooled by the appearance
Pros:

I thought it would be a good place to stay because it is city center but unfortunately I had to change my mind when housekeeping came in without my permission.
All my things were out and I was horrified when I got to know.
The worst is that They were not sorry about it.
Never again

Pros:

Convenient, near some of favourite food places.
However, one of rooms 1803 had some ants and weak water pressure. Another room 2813 had to have the aircon reset because not cold at all

Pros:

I recently stayed at The Pines Melaka for 4 days and 3 nights. The hotel is conveniently located just a short drive to and from Jonker Street, making it easy to explore the area. We stayed on the 27th floor, and our room offered a beautiful view. However, we were woken up at 5/6 am each morning by the loud chanting from the nearby mosque, which was quite disruptive. The bathroom in our room was very spacious and included a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Although the room was decent, it wasn't the cleanest for a 4-star hotel. Nevertheless, all the basic necessities were provided and free parking available.
