Norman Bay Inn

Once you reach to property, it doesn’t look hotel. Room floor wasn’t clean, bedsheets were not clean, there were hairs on the bedsheets.

Such a diamond in the rough!! Was coming through and didn’t know where to stay and found this gem!! Will definitely stay again!!

its a bit noidy from the road

Building is locked and they provide a code to get in. Our room was upstairs (weird hallway walk to get there)and hot. Couldn't set the temperature. Small room and small bathroom. But it was clean.

Great for a one night stay. Close enough to view the marina.
Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The manager was able to help with the heater. No issues.
Would recommend for travellers and convenient being on the TransCanada Hwy.

The motel was easy to find, however getting to the stairs to go up to the second floor was a bit of a hunt. The area around the motel is poorly lit and doesn't feel very safe after dark.
There is no secondary lock on the door which is a bit odd.
The shower head is in desperate need of replacement.

Good stay

No staff on-site. We could only book thru app then we were provided a door access code to building and room. We only booked here because everything else in Kenora was full, which we didn’t expect on a Monday mid September. Was more like workers camp lodging. The actual room was ok,bathroom modern and air conditioner worked as it should (needed to drown out other guests partying).

We had a very clean nice looking room! The bed was extremely comfortable!
Would highly recommend!

Decent for the night. Pricey for the quality, and no working coffee machine.

Small room. TV should be mounted on the wall to free up the table. Maybe add a second chair for the 2nd guest. The shower doors did not close properly leaving a large gap at the bottom.

Nice room and nice walk to the beach. I would come here again.

The room was clean and bathroom was stocked with towels.
Staff was friendly and helpful when we had trouble with the door code.

The check-in process was excellent, the staff was lovely and very helpful. The hallways could use an update but the rooms were clean, new, and comfortable. Loved the mini dove soaps!

Was exactly as portrayed. Code for room works but it doesn't light up until you have pressed a number and you can't see to press the correct first number. Perhaps a more clever person is required.

OLD building, somewhat renovated. No friendly staff present. Walk thru dark lower level hallway (long-term renters) to access upstairs units. Door knob code panel not pre-light prior to initiating code. Took 3 attempts. Large gap around room door (have picture). Not very secure.

the place is good, near the city. The attendant is responsive thru text/call. The building is old but clean and the price is cheaper. We have awesome experience during our stay.
