Alles sehr in die Jahre gekommen bis auf das schöne Restaurant.

Der Kaffee war lecker. Das Hotel war gut zu Fuss per Bus/ÖV erreichbar. Der Rezeptionist war freundlich. Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer war schön :)

Cons:

Ich konnte mein Zimmer von Innen nicht abschliessen, bzw. es hatte kein Schloss um die Türe von Innen zu verriegeln. Die Türe war zwar (glaube ich) nicht zu öffnen ohne Schlüssel, trotzdem fühle ich mich sicherer, wenn ich die Türe von Innen verriegeln kann, besonders wenn ich alleine verreise.

A pleasant stay with friendly owners!
Pros:

Cozy room, & it's right above the restaurant. So if you want a quick bite or a meal during restaurant hours you can literally just walk downstairs. The location is also quite serene too.

The restaurant/check-in staff (I'm guessing they're either the owners or they handle both) are super helpful & friendly, & are willing to help store my luggage on the side for a few hours after check out. (That said, they do not have baggage storage areas)

All in all, a pleasant stay.

Cons:

It's alright.
Due to the size of the room and the bathroom literally integrated into the room space, it does feel like I've living on a ship cabin.
If you're claustrophobic this might be a downside.

The wear & tear is also quite noticeable, but you can tell from the get-go that their main line of business is the restaurant downstairs.

Location being quite a distance from Lucerne city center might be a turn-off for some, but I appreciate the peace & quiet.

That said, no major qualms overall.

Pros:

Ein sehr außergewöhnliches und gemütliches Hotel mit sehr nettem Personal und viel Persönlichkeit. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und das Frühstück liebevoll angerichtet und lecker. Der Wohlfühlfaktor ist außergewöhnlich.
Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle für die nette Geburtstagsdeko im Zimmer unserer Tochter.

Cons:

Für meinen persönlichen Geschmack war die Parfürmierung der Bettwäsche (Waschmittel oder Weichspüler) zu viel. Wir benutzen keinerlei Duftstoffe und ich bin da sehr empfindlich.
