Review – Hotel Portao Diaz

Unfortunately, our experience at Hotel Portao Diaz was very disappointing. The photos online are quite misleading compared to the actual condition of the rooms.

The room we stayed in was not clean and appeared poorly maintained. The bathroom had visible mould and did not feel hygienic. The furniture was damaged and worn, with chipped wood and poor finishes, which gave the impression that basic maintenance has been neglected.

Another issue was that toiletries advertised with the room were not provided, which was inconvenient and disappointing.

Overall, the property felt run down and somewhat shady, which made the stay uncomfortable. This is not what we expected based on the pictures and listing.

For the price paid, the condition, cleanliness, and missing advertised amenities were far below acceptable standards. Management should address the maintenance and hygiene issues and ensure that the photos and amenities listed online accurately reflect what guests actually receive.

Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

Pros:

Despite what has been said on social media,we(my family and I)gave Portoa Diaz Hotel a try.
Upon arriving,the reception lady was very friendly.Before I fetched my family in the parking area(no porter service but hey,3 star hotel)I made sure everything is up to standard in our room.The room was very clean and I slept comfortably(also had no complaints from my wife and kids.)The kids enjoyed the swimming pool that was very clean and well maintained.Breakfast was good and the kitchen staff catered to our needs.Overall my stay was a 10 out of 10 for a 3star Hotel.
I will most def be visiting again

Exceptional service
Pros:

I love Jaden's service he gave us. He would go the extra mile making sure our stay was pleasant. The entire staff treated us super well. I would definitely recommend people to stay and I will definitely visit again.
