Pros:

The staff was really helpful and welcoming, the view was perfect and the distance around the city was convenient. They do their best to keep the place clean!

Cons:

The beds were the only letdown for us, beds were so uncomfortable that they could use an upgrade.

except for 2 people on the morning of checkout, the staff on duty for the 2 days were unfriendly. they say they clean the rooms but only the beds were made and the rubbish thrown out, no sweeping, nothing. the passages

Very friendly , and help full .and free room servers , and even for long stay you get everyday fresh things and clean beding... And also in the building is plenty entertainment ...also buget friendy..

The only thing we didnt like mayby is for the room didnt have a toaster . That all nothing big.

Cons:

The overall service..people not friendly. The room had a smell. The passages dirty. The basin plug faulty...water could not drain. Brown and red water coming from shower. The cutlery in room looks like children played with it. You habe 2 ask for more cutlery and coffee and tea and extras like a iron. They make the beds but dont sweep and clean the rooms.

Perfect overnight stay
Pros:

The hotel is quintessential for staying overnight. The room was comfortable, a microwave in the room would be an asset. We enjoyed the stay.

Review – Hotel Portao Diaz

Unfortunately, our experience at Hotel Portao Diaz was very disappointing. The photos online are quite misleading compared to the actual condition of the rooms.

The room we stayed in was not clean and appeared poorly maintained. The bathroom had visible mould and did not feel hygienic. The furniture was damaged and worn, with chipped wood and poor finishes, which gave the impression that basic maintenance has been neglected.

Another issue was that toiletries advertised with the room were not provided, which was inconvenient and disappointing.

Overall, the property felt run down and somewhat shady, which made the stay uncomfortable. This is not what we expected based on the pictures and listing.

For the price paid, the condition, cleanliness, and missing advertised amenities were far below acceptable standards. Management should address the maintenance and hygiene issues and ensure that the photos and amenities listed online accurately reflect what guests actually receive.

Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

Pros:

We did not stay there. We thought we had booked at the Diaz Boutique Hotel and when we got there they had no booking. On arrival at your hotel, after having been redirected, we found the location of your Hotel to be in an unsafe area for pensioners. We then had to seek alternative accommodation.

My stay was pleasant and more attention should be put towards the popi act and that staff should be trained this poses a risk for geust and community at large .staff should not disclose details and information of geust whatever the circumstances unless its purely about a booking ,this is saddened that staff engage into private matters that can escalate and potential disturb other geust stay they should be professional at all times.
