cramped stay
Pros:

The kitchen staff was very nice. The kiddie pool section was good. Hotel was very clean.

Cons:

The breakfast food selection was terrible. The rooms were small and cramped. The wash basin was outside the main bathroom and one could not get up the use the restroom at night without everyone in the room hearing it. The sound insulation was not good. I could hear people walking up and down the halfway at night when trying to sleep. The whole stay was not relaxing. I felt cramped like a sardine.

Comfortable and clean, just need more staff at check-in and cleaning rooms to make check-in smoother
Pros:

Staff was nice and the hotel was clean.

Cons:

Check in took way longer than it should have, we arrived at 4pm and didn’t get into the room until after 5pm. It might be that they need more staff?

Great South Side Dells Hotel
Pros:

Great hotel on the south side of the Dells. Clean rooms, Fun staff, Good breakfast, Nice pool area inside and outside. We enjoyed our stay.

Disappointing!!!
Cons:

Honestly out of the 5 days we stayed here not once did anyone come clean our room. We have a pile of towels we used over the 5 days still here. It’s 4 of us in the room with a baby. We also came with another family that has a room here and their room didn’t get cleaned either over the 5 days. We had so much trash I had to sit the trash outside the door. I called multiple times for them to come clean the room and the only excuse we got was “the staff has to clean other rooms for people checking in” like whatttt!!! What about the people here already??? I had to call multiple times for towels, tissue for the bathroom, trash bags. I see why this place is only 2 stars because it seems like the staff were being racist. Would never come here again! 0/10
