Pros:

Booked hotel through expedia. On arrival they informed us of double booking and there is no rooms available to accommodate. Hotel staff where not helpful to resolve the problem. Since location is more then an hour away from the city. The closest hotel was an hour away.

Stock up on groceries before you leave Muscat.
Pros:

Getting to the hotel is a winding drive through the mountains from Muscat. Wild donkees and goats along the way. They were building a new highway when we were there. The apartments are very nice with a view of the ocean. The furniture in the livingroom was sparse and very uncomfortable. Everything else was nice. The water pressure in the shower was amazing The breakfast was not buffet style like we expected, just a choice of two breakfasts. One with bacon,sausage , eggs toast orange juice tomatoes tea. The other with crossants and fruit. The coffee is horrible. At night the lights, the stars the dark mountains, the ocean, the cool breeze. Amazing...
