Hotel Don Carmelo

Hotel cancelled my room that was booked as an "extra room". I was sent to a nearby hotel that was about a 1 star rating or less. Don Carmelo was a 1.0 at best. No kitchen. Very old and run down even for Latin America.

Nos la pasamos muy bien, algunos pequenos detalles, pero todo fue excelente, buena atencion, personal amable todo el tiempo, nos la pasamos a gusto. Invito a que no lo piensen Hotel Don Carmelo es la solucion, economico y centrico.

I always have a nice experience when staying at this hotel. Is a very basic hotel with small rooms and very small bathroom but is perfect for staying just one night when traveling and needing to go to the airport the next day.

Overall good experience, with excellent service provided by all the staff and free airport shuttle.

The rooms are small but this hotel makes up for it by being very clean with very helpful people. Its a very nice budget hotel with nice and helpful staff.

Great service! Staff is very attentive and are there to help and answer our questions. Even if rooms are small, they are very clean and comfortable. Close to the MGA airport (10-15 minutes) and good shuttle service.

We have stayed at Don Carmelo twice. When we arrived the airport, we were delayed by 30 minutes due to lost baggage. The shuttle driver waited for us. That kind of loyalty deserves to be rewarded, so we stayed there again for our return flight home. We checked in at 11:00 am and spent the entire day there. I have never been in a cleaner hotel. It is spotless. Great A/C in our room, comfortable bed. It is a small hotel so there is a lot of privacy. They have a small 2nd floor balcony overlooking a busy street. A good place for a cold beverage. They also have a lounge area at street level. The staff are very good, Henry speaks perfect english. They have their own shuttle to the airport, so there is no waiting. I would stay there again anytime.

Nice and neat little hotel the staff is very attractive

There is not much to be done in the area, but the free pick up and airport drop off totally makes this hotel a great choice if you are coming/leaving to the airport.

They always go the extra mile to make there guests happy. My company has an office near by so is perfect for me. They always accomadate us. Free airport shuttles. And what is important to me is they have great internet and let me work up stairs in their restaurant area. The staff is super friendly and always helpful. The rooms are super clean and air conditioned. I highly recommend staying here.

Rooms were small, friendly staff. Very small bathroom, no tea or coffee. Very economical though.

The room is a fire trap,mattress was extremely hard,felt Springs all over bed,now room for person to get out of bed to use bathroom

The staff is very nice and helpful . Great service with shuttle . Rooms are clean . Bathroom are very tiny but we managed . I would stay again .

The bed springs were very pronounced and painful. A cockroach fell from the ceiling onto me. The bathroom was tiny. Had good a/c and breakfast.
