Great location!
Pros:

Location is excellent, it’s in the heart of Northampton! Love the history of the hotel! Staff was incredibly nice!

A very nice stay. Clean and comfortable room, great location, and helpful, friendly staff.
Pros:

The location was terrific, within quick walking distance of the shops of downtown Northampton. When I asked to be moved to a room that did not have an adjoining door to another room, I was quickly accommodated. The room was spacious and very comfortable.

Cons:

The screen on the TV had some large dots of light which obscured the image.

Glad for the breakfast and people, chlorine smell from water still with me after the whole day.
Pros:

breakfast, bathrobes, people nice.

Cons:

no light switches on lamps - plugs only work if you find the main switch not easily, elevator service strange, no handicap entrance.

It was wonderful & beautiful.
Pros:

Room was spacious and clean. It was nice having a bar/lounge on site that was fully staffed.

Cons:

I know it’s a historic property, but we were missing a smart tv in the room.

Good location, quiet but overpriced with rude front desk staff.
Pros:

The location was excellent for exploring Northampton as it’s a very walkable town.
Beds were comfortable and room was very clean.

Cons:

Front desk staff were not helpful (we stayed in a room not in the main hotel and they gave us wrong directions). Never apologized for the mistake and generally couldn’t care less about their guests. Upon check out it was a don’t let the door hit you on the way out attitude.
